Just like many of the other Decepticons, Shockwave is a large one. He towers over Megatron and is probably large enough to pick Ratchet up with one hand and scare him. His armor is lined mostly in silver and black and he has a pretty sleek look to his body, not bulky and dorito-shaped like a few of his other comrades. The most notable thing about him is the large red optic in the middle of his head. This just adds to the intimidating look to him. His face is circular, centering around the large red optic, with two horn-looking items coming from his head, making him look devilish. Shockwave has a large arm cannon attached to his right arm, a cord coming from the back of it and connecting to Shockwave himself, perhaps even at his spark, where it draws it's power. He has long claw-like metal fingers on his robotic hand, and his cannon covers up most of the back of his right hand, but he can still grasp things with it.------------------------------------------------------------------------------YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH

Personality:
This can be summed up in really one line. Shockwave really has no personality. His rejection of emotions has led to him to be almost a neutral computer. All he really does is run programs and calculate things and create strategies for the next logical course of action. He is efficient, in a cruel manner, and expresses no emotions when he carries out his actions, or when terminating a target.
He can be untrustworthy at times. He sometimes will scheme to try to over-throw Megatron and take control of the Decepticons himself. He tends to have a superiority-complex, and though he is very much loyal to Megatron, he will follow logic above all else, which is why he will often plan on over-throwing his leader. Another reason for this is probably because Megatron still shows emotions, and Shockwave sees that as a weakness. This is the reason why he hates humans too.
Shockwave pretty well worships logic as a god. He follows only it in all of his actions, especially in the battlefield. This is not to say he is perfect, sometimes the course of action he follows is not the best one, or things do not always go as planned. Despite this, Shockwave is adamant about following logic, and has strong beliefs that all others should too. The thing about Shockwave, is he knows he is tall enough and powerful enough to get away with pushing his thoughts on to others. He is very arrogant, as much as he denies it and only points out he is doing the logical thing.
It is very possible to extract some emotion from the otherwise expressionless Decepticon, it is just extremely difficult to do so. Most of the time, when he does express some sort of emotion, it is usually wrath. He only does it when he decides it is the most logical choice, whether it be crushing a human or putting an inferior Decepticon back in place or even sometimes brawling with Autobots, he can turn to rage, but never a blind rage. He can also become annoyed, but again only under rare circumstances. Shockwave has become very patient in the course of following logic, which is not always a bad thing.
Strengths: He thinks solely on logic, which leaves him thinking calmly under any situation that usually generates a lot of pressure, and also allows him to think clearly and make the best decision on the next course of action.
Weaknesses: Unfortunately, his decision is not always the right one. He is also large, which makes him an easier target, and is not very physically fast. He also has rejected all emotions, which can be a weakness, he just does not realize it.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET
Family: Unknown
History:
His origins are unknown, and he never speaks about it, even when asked. In fact, asking may be a good way for him to simply not answer but to remind the one who asked the question of their place, and that there are more important matters, like the war. To him it is irrelevant and he prefers to focus on the here, now, and the future. He has been around since before the war of Cybertron, and has served Megatron even when the war began. He quickly climbed the ranks with this high intelligence and gained the respect of all others with him.
Eventually, Megatron and Starscream and a few others went to Earth, leaving Shockwave in charge of the Decepticons back on Cybertron. This lasted a while, and Shockwave was running things very efficiently. After some time had lapsed, Shcokwave decided to go to Earth, why did he leave his duties at Cybetron? Well, ask him that and he may simply shoot you with his cannon rather than answer it. Perhaps he thought it was logical, perhaps he was called by Megatron to assist in terminating the Autobots, or perhaps he felt a fleeting glimpse of emotion and decided he was bored.
Whatever the reason, Shockwave eventually came to Earth to join with the rest of the Autobots. While he still never was in the middle of the action, he was still behind the scenes, calculating strategies and devising the next best and most logical course of action. He found the new world to be strange and unfamiliar, but adjusted quickly and in fact found it to be more simple than the mechanical and large world than Cybertron was. How did he take to the humans? About like a hungry lion takes to an antelope. He found them pathetic and weak, weaker than the Autobots and Decepticons because they seemed more driven by emotions than the others and felt them to be an inferior race that should be wiped out. The rest, as they say, is history.------------------------------------------------------------------------------IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?

The sun shone brightly in the clear blue sky, which only added to the atmosphere of a calm and peaceful day, but sadly, today was going to be anything but peaceful. A leviathan had emerged from the base, standing up straight with a large red optic scoping around the horizon. What was he doing out here? Well, it was not logical for him to stay cooped up in the Decepticon base while his comrades were out patrolling and fighting. He would certainly get cabin fever if he did not step out every once in a while and do something else productive. There was no use staring at a computer screen all day, even if it was something he was really good at. His cannon on his arm, he continued through the dry land near the Decepticon base as he looked around, watching for any humans that may try to get too close, or Autobots that may be lurking in the distance.
He spoke nothing, expressed not boredom, or pleasure, or nothing. He stood almost like a giant statue, except for when he moved. Shockwave would often pause, bending his skeletal elbow as he became ready for anything. Woe be to the first human or Autobot that crossed his path, even if they were not aligned with either side, he would still aim his cannon, or just shoot, but only if they showed hostility. It was not logical to shoot a transformer of neither alignment unless they showed hostility. He knew that an unaligned Cybertronian, or any other sort of transforming robot, could potentially become a comrade but, Shockwave would not be the one to pitch the sale, so to speak.
It was a little agitating. All seemed quiet, and Shockwave began to have thoughts of simply going back inside. The Texas heat had began to wane through out the September days, and leaves are starting to turn brown on their trees, and the grass was also dying down with a golden brown color. Autumn was announcing its presence, and the mornings had gradually been getting colder. Shockwave thought nothing of this, as he thought little of anything except logic. There were still no signs of unwanted life anywhere, but Shockwave was not quite ready to return to the base.
