The grill of the vehicle buckles out and over the converging headlights, the headlights themselves being the prominent feature of his chest. The front wheels of the car are stationed around the hub for his door wings, becoming a prominent part of his surprisingly narrow shoulders. The back doors form the actual door wings, so that the word 'police', though distorted, is still clear and unscrambled due to respect for the service. The top of the car folds out over her back, the lights sliding up firmly between where the shoulder blades would usually be, effectively wedging in between the door wings. The solid white area that makes up his back is relatively thin, and as such is placed over the folded front doors of the vehicle. The rest of his front is composed of layers of the hood, the black forming a non-touching 'v' from his waist, outlining the top parts of where the hip-bone would be, with the hood of the vehicle outlining this 'v', whereas a part of the vehicles engine block takes up a portion of the abdominal area of his form. One primary shard of the hood points down over it, but not majorly. The edge of the hood curves down into the hip area, staying between the black.
His legs are primarily composed of the black in the hood and the rear bumper, the rear wheel comprising a part of the hip joint. The feet take up a part of the bumper in the heel, along with fully supportive hydraulic bases for the ball of the foot, or the toe, whichever you prefer to call it.
His arm is white on top with the black on his forearms, his fingers covered in a firm layering of white armor, dulled fingertips being the anti- of the usual claws in war going bots. All in all, he doesn't look like a very combative mech - except for the separate pistol he keeps on his left hip, and the back-up pistol-like guns that protrude from his arms, about halfway between the wrist and the elbow.
Prowl has a rounded, white helm, a plain gray face on the front that isn't usually a strong expressive center of emotional output. He does, however, have a red 'v' on his forehead, fairly similar to Ratchet's - just taller and more defined, a white line along the bottom of it.------------------------------------------------------------------------------YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH
Likes:
- Order in the sense in which everything follows an order and a sense as her knows it.
- Discipline in that people follow the guidelines they are given, something that is inevitably lost, and must be fixed into these people's minds.
- Helping out in many shapes and forms of the term
- Normal, Logical Situations that don't force him to strain his processors, and allow a nice, easy going day for him, and an admittedly boring day to most other people.
- Martial arts and other physical styles that allow him to move about and express himself in a way that makes sense and logically applies to the war scene, allowing an easy explanation and a chance to relax a bit.
Dislikes:
- Chaos in the base. Being a real stickler for the rules, the chaotic events of broken rules and regulations tend to get on his nerves.
- The illogical - due to his glitch, in that any extremely unexpected or illogical event will scramble his processors.
- Miscreants, as these are the usual variety of people who create chaos and illogical situations.
- Being forced to ignore an injustice or a major flaw in a plan
- Nicknames, and the people who get upset because he doesn't use their nicknames, as nicknames make little sense, and why can't people just go by their given names?
Personality: Prowl is a mech who really doesn't have a very detailed personality until you get to know him. He is a very, very logically founded mech, with a different sense of humor that can be mistaken as a lack of a sense of humor. He isn't extremely social unless you open the conversation or unless it has something to do with his business on base, and will often be found either practicing/instructing martial arts and fighting techniques, or working on new tactical approaches, often called paperwork by his peers, him considering it an appropriate use of his skills. He is seen as a mech of all work and no play, and he honestly doesn't see the logic in changing their opinion, as their opinion matters little in his ability to function. Their opinion only matters if he is required to take control on a battle field, and since that hasn't been too much of a problem yet, he remains unconcerned.
He does, however, have emotions and personal opinions, and isn't entirely as heartless as people claim. He isn't very good at expressing his emotions, usually choosing to express them through movement in his door wings. He has endless patience, though sometimes this is just him trying to process the oddities of a strange situation. Sometimes, though, it is genuine patience. Prowl is actually a good mech to confide in. He will sit and listen and will not judge or tell others unless what you tell him could interfere with others - kind of like a therapist, except that he won't actually talk to you much about it, or probe.
He is, however, able to adjust to his audience. If he is talking to a child, he can adjust to communicating with a child. If he is talking to a normal person, then he is talking to a normal person. He knows how to act in any situation, he knows who he's talking to, and he knows how to talk to them. He can be a very friendly person, as long as the situation calls for it.
He lives in a black and white world, and that works for him. However, areas in the shades of gray don't make much sense to him. Paintings, music, emotion... These are some of the things that go straight through him. This is why he doesn't express emotions very well - because they don't make sense to him. They aren't logical, they are impulses from extra processors that mean little in the functioning of life.
He is a purely logical creature because of the overactive logical processors that run his entire thought processes and life. He does have the other central parts of his processor system, but the logical processors tend to override these, and leaves him the mech he is.
Strengths: Prowl can analyze a situation very well, coming up with and instantly implementing the appropriate reaction to any action in attempt to get what he wants. This can make him an excellent fighter, and can help him gauge the events of a battle before they happen, making him a great strategist.
Weaknesses: Being unable to understand the emotion of a situation, he knows little more than the facts. This can make enemies of people sometimes, and sometimes it can cause his predictions of a situation to be inaccurate, forcing him to re-evaluate. Also, because of his logic glitch, he cannot take too much of the illogical or the extreme unexpected, and if forced to process these things, his logically-centered processors will overload and eventually fry, leaving him essentially helpless.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET
Family: Prowl has no family. The closest he has to family are the younger humans and occasionally bots that he's taken in to teach how to fight, usually involving martial arts. Other than this, his family, if he ever had one, is dead.
History: Prowl was an enforcer on Cybertron before the war, keeping peaceful bots safe from bots who aren't as peaceful, even before the less peaceful bots decided to try and take over the world. His home city was destroyed by some of the Decepticon Seekers, one of the first cities destroyed in the war. He is one of the last survivors of the unforeseen attack, and as such, it only made sense that he serve the Autobots, the group opposing those that killed everybody he knew and destroyed his home town.
He quickly proved his worth in tactics, rising through the ranks until he worked beside Optimus Prime himself, a Tactical Officer in the Autobot army. He is a mech of security and code work, and proved a bit more worth in his abilities in security as well, although tactics formed the major areas of his expertise.
When the war came to earth, he stayed behind where the majority of the fight stayed, staying until he was no longer needed, before leaving for the place he felt he was needed more - earth, where Optimus Prime and some of the elites stayed, along with the many who had left to follow. He would go where he was needed, and he was smart enough to figure out where that was.------------------------------------------------------------------------------IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?
Weaponry: Prowl has a separated pistol that he keeps on hand just above his hip, and small shotgun/pistol like protrusions that remain in his arms, helpful in tough situations, such as a case in which he loses the pistol.
Extra: Just his logic glitch, mentioned previously.------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT MEEarth was an odd place, run on dreams and emotions, by a highly illogical peoples. His first impression of the species was a negative one, but he knew that they had to determine their own worth. Prowl was prepared to take back his role as a Tactical Officer in the Autobot Army, and to do so, he'd have to make it to them. Scanning a nearby police vehicle - a Crown Victoria - he shifted down into the shape, feeling his protoform armor re-shape itself to fit the form.
The next step was to get home. His new home. Where, soon enough, everything would make sense again and he could settle back into a normal routine. He appreciated normalcy. It was a rare thing, and nothing had seemed normal since his home had been destroyed. But that was war, and now, war was normal. It was unfortunate, but it was the truth, and even the worst of truths had to be accepted.
His actions in accepting the war had been ones of pure sense, actions required to continue functioning. And now, he would continue to function through the war as long as he was needed. He had a job to do, and mourning the past only got in the way.
Setting course toward the Autobot base, Prowl would call them when he was close, alert them that he was here, on earth, arriving at base. His arrival may not be appreciated by the more unruly of bots, but that only meant that there were bots that needed the sense knocked back into them. Hopefully they hadn't done anything unintelligent in his absence, because that would be an interesting mess to fix up. Yes, Prowl was fully prepared to take his role in the war, for the Autobot cause.
