Skill: 8------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE DETAILSKnock Out is not what you'd expect from a Medic. For one thing, rather than the stereotypical emergency vehicle, he takes on the form of a customized Aston Martin V8 Vantage with silver flame decals down his sides and neon yellow lining around the vents on his hood. In robot form, his headlights form his chest, whilst his doors make up his arms. His front wheels form wing like parts on his back, and his back wheels form into his feet, acting as heel like structures. He's mainly a dark red and silver in color in this form.------------------------------------------------------------------------------YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH
Likes:
- Breakdown. As a partner.
- SURGERY!
- Breaking them. He's better at it than fixing them.
- Street racing
- Annoying Starscream. No worries, herr commandant, he'll lay off when Megatron's around.
Dislikes:
- HAVING HIS PAINTJOB SCRATCHED.
- Having his paintjob painted on in a different color other than red.
- Starscream
- Autobots
- Being outnumbered. It doesn't work out so well.
Personality: Well, that depends on where and when you catch him. In the Nemesis, Knock Out's the smooth criminal of a Medic who would much rather prefer to break you further than fix you up. He knows his place in the pecking order, and certainly isn't one to blatantly try for any position of power like Starscream, unless such a moment arises when Megatron is out of the picture. He respects the authority of the Decepticon Leader, though, and enjoys his own fair share of winding up his Second in Command.
Outside of the Decepticon ship, he is a lot more focused, and far easier to anger. Whereas on the Nemesis a scratch might come as a punishment from a superior, out in the human world, he is free to take his own revenge for the harm done to his paintjob, and he will do so happily. He's also quite the flirter, though apparently isn't too picky when it comes to mech or femme, even going as far as to compliment Optimus Prime himself. Though we all know how that turned out.
But no matter where he is, he will always and forever be the most vain Decepticon on the Nemesis. Never have the words 'I'm sexy and I know it' been so accurate. When he's not breaking mechs or racing, he's probably keeping his paint job in tip top condition, and it isn't really too wise to interrupt him when he's doing any of those things. He has methods of paying you back. Painfully.
Strengths: Despite being an obvious fan of surgery, Knock Out is pretty much the most reliable Medic on the Nemesis, doing better than anyone else, at least. He also makes a pretty good interrogator, though that mainly comes down to his little toy...
Weaknesses: He wouldn't admit it, but the Good Doctor does actually have some concern, even a mild kinship, with Breakdown, doing most missions with his partner unless he's away street racing. This little fact would become very clear if anything were to happen to the large blue mech.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET
Family: Unknown.
Partner: Breakdown
History: Before the War, Knock Out was a freelancer medic, doing what he could to survive and repairing anyone who might need the assistance. But even as he did this, some curiosity was buried inside him that made him want to find out the internal structure of Cybertronians. In his own way. From this came his new found love of what we know today as surgery. Of course, the Autobots would never have accepted this 'barbaric' behaviour, so he did the only thing he could; he joined the Decepticons. It was safe to say that his vain love for his appearance, meanwhile, was more of a thing that had been there since the very beginning.
It was some time after he'd joined the ranks of Megatron that he encountered Breakdown, injured and almost offline in the battlefield. Unable to carry such a big lug, Knock Out did what he could by dragging him to a sheltered area to make his repairs. Once online, the ever grateful Breakdown made the vow to become his partner, and help him out in whatever came his way, which the smaller red mech didn't particularly mind; it meant more survival for him.
Eventually they were called off of Cybertron to make the trip to Earth, spending a great deal of time under the radar scouting for Energon mines. It didn't take long for Starscream to call him asking for some assistance regarding Megatron's unfortunate accident, which the two had fun correcting as much as they could. Knock Out was quick to discover that some younger humans enjoyed racing dangerously as much as he had done back on Cybertron, and often disguises himself and takes part in these races, despite Starscream's anger at it.------------------------------------------------------------------------------IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?
Weaponry: In vehicle form, Knock Out has blasters that can form on his doors, though it is unknown whether or not he can access these in robot form. Though he has a backup for that part; a rather painful electric staff, which he can change the strength of to either momentarily daze or completely knock out an opponent. And you wonder where he got his name from.
Extra: N/A------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT MEHe was out again.
Even if it did annoy their beloved Air Commander, Knock Out could never quite go against the thrill of the race against these younger human beings with their own flashy vehicles. Though, obviously, none were as good as his own, and none were nearly as well kept. That part always bothered him; if you were going to have metal, by the Allspark, keep it shiny. Otherwise, what was the point of having it?
His engine seemed to purr with anticipation as he pulled up to park beside the other three vehicles, not really paying attention to any remarks that they made. As long as they left his paint alone, he would leave theirs alone. And speed on passed and completely leave them in the dust, of course.
Games were only fun when one was winning, after all.
