One look at Dreadwing and anyone who sees him would know he is trouble. He has an intimidating build, with plenty of armor that look quite like 'muscles' packed upon him. Unlike most Decepticons who are silver or purple, he is actually a bluish and yellow color. His arms are big, almost out of proportion to the rest of his body but also adding to his strong look. Dreadwing is obviously a seeker, which is shown by parts of his wings becoming almost horned tips on his shoulders and making up armor towards his lower back. One of the most notable things about Dreadwing is the horns upon both sides of his head and his eyes are red like many other Decepticons.------------------------------------------------------------------------------YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH
Likes:
- Serving Megatron
- Succesfully completing a mission everyone else has failed
- Fighting a worthy, honorable opponent
- Working for the glory of the Decepticons
- Honing his own skills
Dislikes:
- Autobots
- Traitors
- Those who fight without honor
- Incompetent soldiers
- Failing a mission
Personality:
Dreadwing is completely and blindly loyal to Megatron and the Decepticon cause. He holds extreme hatred for any and all Autobots. He will fight any one of them he meets upon sight, and will seek to kill them. The same can be said for those who have abandoned the Decepticons and became rogues. To him they are untrustworthy and he has no patience for traitors. Anything that can be done to further Megatron's will, he will happily do it to the best of his abilities.
He is not all bad though. Dreadwing has been known to hold a sense of honor, and when the Decepticon cause is threatened by a third party, he has been known to throw away his desire to kill his enemy in order to see that the one threatening to ruin everything is taken care of. He also will refuse to fight a helpless or unarmed opponent, preferring that they be able to put up a fight rather than taking advantage of their weakness. Dreadwing believes that doing that is the coward's way out.
Now, the interesting part, his take on romance? Well, he does like the ladies but feels his duties to serve Megatron leave no time for anything like that. In fact, when around a lady who is interested in him, he will probably not know what to think and ultimately push her away to tell her that he has better things to do. This goes back to him being blindly loyal to Megatron and the Decepticon cause. Dreadwing seems to fear for nothing, not even for his own spark, but he is a lot more level-headed than his brother.
Strengths: His cannon is nothing to sneeze at, and he has very good sword skills and brute strength if all else fails.
Weaknesses: He is blindly loyal to Megatron. Dreadwing also has a weakness in his honor, since more unscrupulous characters can take advantage of that.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET
Family:
Parents are unknown
Brother: Skyquake(DECEASED - Sort of)
History:
Not much is known about Dreadwing before he came to Earth. It is obvious he is a demolitions expert, and rather level-headed, unlike his brother. The reason he even came to earth is because he felt the spark of his brother when it went offline and went to Earth to investigate. This was not before killing one the Autobot Seaspray. He then was chased by Wheeljack to Earth. There the two fought and Dreadwing seemed to be winning until more Autobots shown up. Seeing as there was no way out, Dreadwing scanned a vehicle mode and flew away.
Soon, he was found by the Nemesis and met up with Megatron and swore his undying loyalty to him. He also learned of his brother's death here, and swore to kill any and all Autobot. His first mission was to kill Airachnid, and he took Breakdown with him but all went wrong when Airachnid managed to anger Breakdown. Dreadwing was pinned to a tree by a web, and when he was freed, he could no longer find Airachnid or Breakdown and did not meet Breakdown again until later when he found out he had been badly wounded. Either way, Megatron was disappointed in Dreadwing's failure, until Airachnid challenged Megatron herself. Dreadwing wanted badly to go but was ordered to stay behind.
Dreadwing defied orders and went after Megatron anyways. He ended up rescuing him and breaking up a stand-off between Airachnid, Megatron, and the Autobots. Though he gave his word he would not open fire shoudl they release Megatron, Megatron did not give his word and thus opened fire to allow him and Dreadwing to escape. Megatron then praised Dreadwing after this, and noted he would make a fine second-in-command. This pleased Dreadwing very much, and gave him hope of obtaining that position.
Shortly after this, the Nemesis was crashed and repaired with Dark Energon, but it went rogue from it and kept a mind of it's own. The Decepticons, including Dreadwing, tried to get it under control but were all put into stasis until the human kids reset it and the Dark Energon left it's core.
It was after that the race for the relics began, and Dreadwing was searching for one in Antartica to search for a relic with Drones. They found and captured Starscream, and held him for a while until Optimus Prime came along. Dreadwing and Optimus Prime fought, but Optimus Prime managed to escape and get to the relic, but Dreadwing managed to catch up. The two began to fight again, but then Starscream took the relic that turned out to be Apex Armor, making Starscream invincible and they could not do anything to him no matter how much they tried. In the end, Optimus Prime and Dreadwing had to work together temporarily in order to get rid of Starscream. For that, Dreadwing let Optimus Prime live to fight him another day. This did not please Megatron at all.
Of course, Dreadwing soon worked his way into the second-in-command position and happily serves Megatron.------------------------------------------------------------------------------IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?
Weaponry:
A laser cannon, a sword, and lots of demolition bombs
Extra: N/A------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME
Dreadwing had been patrolling the Nemesis when he had picked up an Energon signal on Earth. Deciding he should go and see if it was a vein of Energon, Dreadwing flew from the base and raced toward the Energon signal as fast as he could. Of course, he was not alone, he was never alone. He took four Vehicons with him. He knew one thing. He needed to get there before the Autobots had picked it up. Even if they did, it would be of no matters to him, since it simply meant he would have a chance at annihilating them. He knew to keep it calm though, no need in getting anxious. That was what caused Breakdown's failure. The Decepticon reached the point where the signal had been located and began flying around over-head to see if he could find anything from the air.
When he could not locate anything, he moved toward the ground and transformed, landing with an audible slam. His red eyes searched around before using a device to pin-point the Energon exactly. Once it was found, he gestured for the drones to start mining for it. Dreadwing was going to assist. It was going to take all of them to find it and present it to Megatron. No doubt their lord would be most pleased. He was oblivious to all that was going on with his lord. It did not matter to him. He was still going to be loyal to Megatron to the end. Suddenly, Dreadwing thought he had heard something. He stopped what he was doing and whirled around to look behind him. His red eyes looked to the left and then to the right and then to the left and then to the right, but he could not see anything.
Still not satisfied, he began to head a little further away from the others. His foot-steps making an almost audible sound when they hit the ground. Could someone be spying on them? He best go and investigate further. Off in the distance, he could see one of those human houses, and knew they should probably hurry up before a human would spot them. Why did he care? Well, he would have to kill them and then that would just cause trouble. Dreadwing just wanted to take the Energon and go really. If the Autobots came, fine, he would fight them, but he did not want to attract them to just look for a fight. That was just not his way.
