Into The Fire [Vicky]

As she turned back around in the momentum of her spin, she growled with lips pulled back to reveal jagged fangs as she searched around for her opponent who had appeared to have.. disappeared. Her tail slashed at the ground instead, dragging through it and leaving quite the cut in the earth. Allowing a rough predator-like out burst mixed between an electric snarl and low growl when three dents and a hole were thrown upon the armored plates of her tail. Darting off of the spot, her mouth hung open a jar in order to better intake the smell of this annoyance. From her finger tips it appeared that same bright, corrosive acid looked to be bleeding, hardening as it built on to about three feet long on each finger. Acidic Energon caused smoke and waves of heat to roll off of the newly viewed weapons, drips which turned to vapor before they could touch the ground fell to oblivion.

It appeared that the image around Vicky was becoming distorted due to heat waves which cried for freedom, granted off of their source and even more so at the sight of the claws. Her receptors perked, she scanned her surroundings carefully before, her head whipped into Tex's direction as soon as she heard the sound of larger dirt particles crackling against one another under a foot of the well armored suit. In a flash step, she was off the spot and had managed her way over as quickly as her temper could aid her before slashing violently at the location and somewhat outside of it with the thought of this one escaping her wrath.

Tex narrowly avoided the slash. Vicky was faster than the few she'd fought before, that was for sure, and it was taking her by surprise. All though the fight was forced, it was exhillarating nonetheless, and Tex felt the burn when those claws sliced up some of the armor and ballistic rubber covering her figure. Unfortunately, the claws snagged her biomechanical arm, but the wires didn't get too banged up thankfully. Healing was generally faster with the arm than any other part of her human figure. Still, the cuts burned, and it got some of her chest armor too.

So she scooted a little to the left and forward to avoid another possible swing from Vicky and fired another round towards Vicky's upper body while she could still see her, hoping her hit would be more accurate. Any moment now she would be able to get out that detonator and shove her towards some of those explosives she'd set up around them.

Due to just how easily her accredited claws of appending carnage slashed through bits of Tex's tech and armor, Vicky barely felt the slash brush through the metal. What she did feel however, she recognized it which only drove her further into a fury. Receptors pulled back in a slight curve, giving them a somewhat demonic look from Hell, the femme pushed forward to slash again. The movement might have saved some of her, but not all. The blast tore into her left, lower chest. You could call it where the torso disappeared into the chassis, at that location, a somewhat melted hole being torn into her side with the bright, orangish red liquid spray in the instant it hit. Staggering back, she forced herself to stop after three steps and stand firm though her right clawed hand raised to the wound. She didn't make the mistake of touching it. Paint seemed to vanished where the torn wound bled as if it hadn't existed to begin with. Outer armor melting to help form chasms where the Energon seeped. Her cooling systems kicked on full blast in that area in hopes to keep herself from melting before trying to tame the pulsating pain with rage and frenzy and charging forward again once more at Tex. She leaped up, giving a twist in mid air before flash stepping again. This time, it appeared her arrival time lagged as smoking dots of bright orange trickled the ground with a sizzle only to soon after disappear in the holes they created. Her claws at four feet now, she slashed forward in the area she had last seen Freelancer Texas, hoping to carve the woman a new entry hole while keeping on her toes in order to listen for the weapon's power up.

Tex had a lot of patience in battle, and it showed here. She was able to narrowly dodge the first scratch, though her abdomen recieved some light scratches from the acidic claws. She couldn't feel the burn, but when her HUD warned her of the damage, she glanced down quickly and took note of it. Her targeting system was still trying to keep up with Vicky, as was Omalley. As Vicky's flash stepping technique began to lag and energon dripped more, tracking soundwaves became easier for the AI.

It was time to get this one cornered.

As a second slash came down after reappearing, Tex moved in a way that may catch Vicky by surprise. Deactivating her canon, she drew her standard combat knife with a good arm and tried to swing forward and stab said swining arm as it came to her. The force would be strong, but it was nothing she couldn't handle. Simultaneously, she reached for the detonator to the explosives set up nearby and around them a few feet away as they moved about. A series of explosives went off in a chain-link reaction, which also forced Tex back just moments after potential impact with Vicky's swinging arm. It would be just enough to distract the femme, hopefully...

This human was putting up quite the fight. This, only insulted Vicky. The fact that this human had not been taken care of by now. This sky warrior of sorts had in the very LEAST, thousands upon thousand upon thousands of years of training, experience, and skill honing that this little trouble maker would never hope to see even a fraction of such! "QUIT WASTING MY TIME!" A mix between a bark, a snarl, and a hiss, soon, answered with something she had not wanted to hear.

Her thought of Tex's actions was little compared to the explosives. Her receptors pulled back, static dancing about her hearing quite painfully as she couldn't help but throw a looksie towards the large blast. In that, her arm had been caught by the blade, knocked downward with Tex's brute force and the femme snapped back to the target at hand with a fang bared growl. Moving forward, caring little if she ran Tex over or not, quickly padding to put distance between herself and the destruction so to be allowed more chance at downing her enemy.

{"It would seem I'm in fact doing the opposite."} Tex thought to herself as she shouldered past Vicky just in the nick of time to yank the blade back into her firm grasp, her right arm canon transforming once again. Dammit, she would get this one even if she had to stand around all evening to do it! She fired at Vicky's back, her right side this time, letting the blast go to a dangerous size that could potentially be bad for her in a physiological sense. Her eyes were starting to see stars and her body tingled as she exerted power into making a much bigger blast than before, one that might easily level a football field if she wasn't careful with her self control.

Unfortunately, Tex was known to push her limits every time a fight came up. That bright glow shone from the barrel of the large canon, aiming once again as the explosives cleared, her HUD in the visor flickering from all the head and static around them as she tried to re-orient herself. Omalley was unsure just how far she would take things here, but he didn't care - only enough that she didn't die on him, because then if she did, he would have to be transferred to another host.

Honestly she wasn't in the mood for this whatsoever. She had come out here to be left alone, something she didn't get with or without the Autobots. When she was finally secluded, she was accompanied by unwanted thoughts that never ceased to pester her. And then of course, this odd bitch showed up.

Unfortunately for Tex, the maroon fox was far too fast and turned out of the way with ease though it didn't stop her wing from getting clipped. The good news for Tex, that didn't matter. All that shot had to do was hit nearby.

Vicky didn't even see what happened, for a split second which felt like a prolonged moment, she knew absolutely nothing other than the fact that she could see nothing but the light of the blast before she attempted to shield her optics, and the pain from fiery Hell itself as her hearing went out. By the time she had any means, in her disoriented state, of gaining recognition of her whereabouts, she was near unrecognizable. Her optics were salvageable thanks to last second attempts to prevent harm, her large fox-like receptors however, were mangled. The left seemed as if most of it wasn't there, the right got lucky and was only viciously burned. From left to right of her body, that would appear how it played out. That bright red-orange liquid seeped from her wounds, pulsating like lava. Much armor had been ripped from her, what was still there, pointing to the right as if trying to escape the explosion. All was eerily silent, well, to her, for she heard nothing. Everything buzzed with a lively, sinister pain. Her form gave a sway and creak, before leaning forward and collapsing into the ground. Often, she found taking to the air and shooting from there to be a move of cowardice and rather unjustified, today, it might very well get her killed.

Her bio-canon still activated, Tex approached the dazed femme cautiously, very promptly sending an alert to MECH for a speedy pick up informing them she downed a Cybertronian at their coordinates. She hoped the femme didn't wake up before the transport arrived. She took precautions in doing so then, planting some C4 around the femme's perimeter, turning invisible as she did so. Much of the C4 that was planted got covered up partially by dust as she moved about, and it would make it hard for the frazzled Vicky to smell or feel where she went, if she was sensitive to vibrations that is. If successful here, Tex had done her job - the others at MECH would "tend to" Vicky from there.

As Vicky was loaded into a large semi trailer, Tex secured herself in the back with the other operatives, and they thus began their travel back to the base. It would take a while, but it was worth the wait. Jack had plans for uses of a female Cybertronian apparently, and she could only begin imagine what he was getting at.

Vicky was likely to get a smooth ride throughout the drive. They inserted a tranquilizing serum they'd improved over the last couple of years to put her into a deep stasis for most of the ride. If she woke up and cause trouble once she was chained down, they could fire another tranq to get her to cooperate. Vicky was probably not going to get any parts taken from her, it seemed Jack was more interested in the Cybertronian equivalent of "DNA" at this point.

Vicky had stared ahead for a moment when she went down, only to seemingly zone out, and find herself in a temporary stasis lock. It was likely no one would receive much movement from this one, not until much later.

...

A blur was all she saw at first when they stirred her frame. She had lost much of her vital fluids. Fortunately, the heat from the Acidic Energon had eventually melted and burned wounds shut, keeping them from doing more harm to her damaged systems. This femme was unable to take in much, spying an oddly suited figure approach, but only for a moment before their sedative had kicked in, to her, unknowingly. From there, the ex-Decepticon was still, limp, and silent. Before she faded back into stasis once more, she could have sworn she had heard Elina's voice, questioning her, though she wasn't entirely sure..

Tex stood by the operative that began working on Vicky, watching the process for a bit as they tried to deal with the acid, the man swearing a bit upon discovery. A man in a nice looking business suit sauntered in the room about half an hour later, speaking with Tex, occasionally eying Vicky's still form.

They took samples of the acid, or well, tried, in the toughest containers they could find, putting them in a radioactive box. They were interested in the bestial form this femme possessed, along with any of the weapons Tex mentioned. The boss, Jack Hurst, would release Vicky with no harm done (except for possibly some stolen weapons or armor) later that night unless they determined they needed something else.
