[Perceptor]

It had been a while since he'd been in a combative situation, and he wasn't sure how to rate the difficulty of it. However, put under pressure, he'd rate this one fairly high. He'd have to take a couple of hits, especially since Knock Out had brought his side kick along. He should've known it wouldn't be a fair fight, but for some reason, that had been what he'd expected. "I would ordain that a system be integrated in which it be even longer, however I find that you portend to an aggressive stance with my friend, which must be ceased immediately."

He didn't move in position except to do one thing - to toss what appeared to be a handle to Daniel, in the hope that she caught it. It wouldn't respond to a bots touch anyway, and was, theoretically, entirely useless to them. It would only respond to the biorhythms of an organic - or, at least, mostly organic - entity. The handle would split into two different pieces and, upon detection of human biorhythms, expand to create an armor around the wrist and upper fore-arm, attach to her nerves, and create two separate weapons - a gun and an energon blade - that would activate upon request. The disadvantage being that it took her energy and willpower to use. And that he couldn't explain it very well in the given situation, but hopefully she could figure at least part of it out.

With that motion on one arm, he used the opportunity he was given to fire his pistol at the larger mech rapidly, three shots in succession, his targeting systems hitting him specifically while he backed up. He usually was a pretty good shot, but it could take a few shots to calibrate the targeting system that he never really used.

[Knock Out]

"Just watch her." Knock Out muttered to Breakdown, glancing briefly at Danny. His bigger partner would certainly get a surprise when he realized just how fast the little pest was, but Perceptor's arrival didn't exactly help them. It would either be one of them distracting him whilst the other went after the girl, or forgetting her altogether in the hopes of overwhelming the Autobot Scientist and then chasing after her. Either way would probably end up with them coming up on top, unless Perceptor called for backup.

He looked back at the red mech before him with an amused smirk. He was being told to back off. How entertaining. "Why ever should I? Your 'friend' over there is radiating some very interesting energy readings, and I'm sure Megatron would love to meet her." He answered, keeping to his threatening stance as his buzzsaw spinned a few times.

Breakdown did not respond to Danny’s insult, other than to glance briefly at her with the air of a mech who was not impressed. Tubby. Really, she’d have to do better than that. Perceptor’s speech garnered his immediate attention, and even though Perceptor used that flowery language he seemed to love so much, it was terribly difficult for Breakdown to understand him.

He braced himself against the shots; two went wide, and the third glanced off his thick armor. He grinned broadly; Perceptor was going to have to do better than that it he wanted to damage Breakdown. “Yeah. Why would we back down when we’re ahead?” He lifted his arm, shifting it into hammer mode; he let the hammer fall, slamming into the ground and cracking the pavement beneath him. It was an impressive, intimidating display.

“This isn’t one of your science experiments, Percy,” Breakdown rumbled, a teasing note to his gruff voice, “and I ain’t going to go easy on you.” He refrained from charging, though, awaiting a signal from Knock Out.

[Danielle Messick]

The odd piece of equipment had been spotted, her olive eyes off of the larger one for a moment. Putting the saw blade back, she jumped up to catch only to find an odd outcome. It indeed, split into two, and began folding out to envelope both of her lower arms like gauntlets of some sort. Cybertronian Perceptor gauntlets, this should be good. How in the hell did she?...

Aiming the right fist at Breakdown, feeling a pinch as that tapped into her nervous system, the armor moved out of the way and brought what appeared to be a split double shotgun barrel. Her brow raised at that, looking down at the other to find a decent sized energy blade equipped. Satisfied with that and seemingly impressed, she looked back in time to try and brace herself as the hammer slammed down. Given her size, as the ground trembled, she couldn't help but stumble a bit and took on a slight crouch to avoid stepping away. Standing again, seeming to also be waiting for some form of signal whether it be their attack or Perceptor's, she was displeased. "This is your last chance to get lost. You two don't stand a chance." Now, if only to imagine what Perceptor was thinking right now. Getting into trouble was all in the day and life of Danielle Messick.

[Perceptor]

Perceptor would be glad to hold things off for much, much longer, but he had other things he'd rather be doing, and waiting for a fight to start wasn't one of them. In theory, his targeting system should be fully calibrated by those three shots, and the longer he waited, the more likely they were to be found, by humans or other 'cons. Their taunting, however, while not friendly, was not getting anything, anywhere. Letting potential insults roll off of him, ineffective, Perceptor, shifted very, very slightly, before replying. "Further progress will be very limited if we stick to hostile communication alone. As the humans say, 'May the Games, Begin.'"

Immediately she started aiming and shooting at the larger, more quiet mech, backing up as he did so, prepared to dodge if one, or both, of the mechs charged or did anything irrational. Just because he was not used to combat did not mean he knew nothing about fighting. This just... Wasn't his typical battle scene. He would find a way to cope, though. He always did, particularly when he had a few extra things from the lab. He was worried about Danielle, but as long as they focused on him, she would have her share of free shots at the two.

Honestly, the situation didn't look great, but it could be a whole lot worse, and Perceptor knew that very, very well.

[Knock Out]

Knock Out jumped forward as Perceptor fired, spinning his staff rapidly to deflect as many of the shots as he could. The rest Breakdown would be able to handle with his sheer mass and armor strength that far outmatched his own. It came in handy to have a brute as a partner. "Do what you want with the Autobot - that girl is mine." He told the big blue mech, eyeing Danny's new weapons with interest. Perceptor definitely came prepared. But he wasn't leaving Breakdown to fend the Autobot off because Danny was an easier target; he was acknowledging to his partner that he was a lot less stronger, and the ex-Wrecker had more of a chance of beating him. The end of his staff crackled with almost excitement as he rushed towards the girl before him.

Breakdown stared down at Danny and continued to look as unimpressed as he possibly could. When he saw her double-barrel shotgun weapon, he activated the sizeable blaster that was attached to his shoulder, and it hummed angrily. He might have referred to bludgeon, but he wasn’t adverse to using his firepower when he needed it.

Breakdown was not the fastest mech, but he was ready to go, and he immediately darted to the side. Perceptor’s shots narrowly missed him, but he wasn’t concerned about taking a few hits. His approach was very straightforward; he charged, his hammer held at the ready, his shoulder-cannon firing off two quick blasts in succession.

His charge wasn’t the fastest, but it wasn’t likely that anyone was going to be able to stop him in his tracks.

[Danielle Messick]

When this all finally came to its brutal end, Danny only hoped that Perceptor would be alright. She didn't want to see him harmed because of her run in with bad luck in the form of an overly dressed Decepticon and his friend that looked like he could dismember Perceptor like this was a gift he was happy to tear open. I only she could speak to Perceptor without these two overhearing, alas, at the moment, this was impossible. {"Please be thinking trip the red one and run, that's what I'm thinking. I don't need your death on my hands."}

Though the crackle of the lethal weapon Knockout wielded caught her despair/attention, she would not dare let herself appear fearful before her enemy. He was going to pay, even if that meant some other time to avoid Perceptor being sucked into the middle of it. Karma too had its ways and works.

She raised her Cybertronian split barrel shotgun and let it fire upon Knockout, hoping in the very least to try and slow him by the need to dodge her distanced strikes. From there, she allowed it to fold away, back into its gauntlet, darting forward like she was as much a robot as Knockout was. As if she could collide in the embrace of battle without the consequence of what she truly was. Her image ripped the energy of the sword swiping out falsely at Knockout's left, darting right after the physical lie, hoping to avoid be fried as she ran in for an attempted swipe at his right ankle joint where lay a tire. In the very least if she could pop that, she could make getting around more of a challenge than the Decepticon medic would hope for. In the mean time, she would hope not to die by electrocution.

[Perceptor]

Perceptor might not be fast, but he knoew how to dodge. Having been braced in a firing stance, it was a fairly simple matter to push off of his left foot and roll to his right, in effect side-stepping the charge. He was hit in a glancing blow off the left thigh by the second shot, but the first shot hit him in what would be the ribs of his left side. Fortunately, his armor was designed to take a few hits. Unfortunately, his personality wasn't. The hit made him pause for moment, but that moment would likely be recovery for both of them - or so he reasoned. Missing a charge took a moment. He quickly brought his shooting arm back up, firing a couple of times with as much careful aim he could manage.

At the same time, his other arm reached for another little gadget he'd brought with him, hidden in the many crevices in his physical form designed to carry tools for scientific purposes. Just because he wasn't a warrior, didn't mean he couldn't adapt. Unfortunately, what he kept on him was often stuff he didn't use - meaning that it might take him a moment to find the little device. It was like having a lot of pockets, putting something in one of them, and forgetting which pocket it was in. Rather frustrating, really. He hoped Danny would be able to keep herself up, too.

[Knock Out]

At the oncoming shots, Knock Out did indeed dodge to the side, but he by no means decreased in his speed, or if he did it was barely noticeable. He span his staff rapidly, ready to strike, but was forced to move at her swipe to his left, only to find that she had faked it. There was a horrible popping noise, and his optics widened in horror. No... she hadn't... She'd popped his tire! That was it, this girl was dead, even if it cost him a test subject. Snarling angrily, he slammed the end of the electric staff down, hoping that it would connect with her chest and either kill her or knock her out. The former would make fighting Perceptor easier, the latter would provide leverage against said Autobot. Either way, he would be satisfied.
