The cat part is reflected in her legs, which are a stylized version of the traditional seeker legs, and partially from the ears - though not quite as much, as her ear fins are fairly unique in comparison organic creatures in general. Her joints are all around flexible, which makes her maneuverability an asset in battle, but sacrifices some armoring and sturdiness of frame. She has several weak spots, particularly in her hip, leg, and waist, where fluid lines and flexibility made it nearly impossible to fully armor. Her arms and shoulders, on the other hand, are much better armored. Her primary weak spot is the one in her hip, as if it is hit hard enough, the soft flexible covering is easily broken and the interior hydraulic pressure lines can be ruptured - forcing her to lose all motion in her leg, and causing potentially severe energon loss. Because of the extra emphasis on leg flexibility and shock absorption, her feet were designed to bend and take pressure in many different directions so as not to lose the effect gained by the design. This doesn't necessarily make them a weak point, but it does make them sensitive to earth materials such as dirt and sand, more so than the average foot design.
Speaking of feet, hers are designed in about five sections. The central hub, the outer ring, the front toe, the rear toe, and the ankle - which itself is split into it's own different sections. The central hub is what connects the toes, the outer ring, and the ankle together - making it a target. However, because of this, it itself is much thicker than most of the armor, seeing as it doesn't have to worry as much about the inner system, and is prepared for most directed blows. The outer rings is consisted of several small blocks designed to rotate on a bending arm, to allow the outer circle itself to adapt to the ground whether the central hub is facing it evenly or not. The front toe is longer, and is a stabilizer should she be leaning forward, whereas the rear toe is for the same, yet opposite purpose. These are both fairly elongated, the front about twice as long as the rear, and come to a dull point at the end. They are connected to the central hub at the same point on a pivot point, leverage added in the middle, between each branching side and connected to the central hub. This part is not much of a target, as her feet still function perfectly fine without the extra toes. Her ankle is comprised of three partial spheres that are fit inside each other at a slight angle to allow for her leg's odd style, allowing for a wide range of rotation of the central hub, and a wider rang of rotation for the out ring and the toes of her foot.
Her legs are not the typical design, and are comprised of a double-knee, vastly similar to most organic cats, dogs, or other similar four-legged creatures. This is sometimes referred to as the seeker design, but is not limited to seekers alone - just used by them more often because of the ability to absorb a lot of sudden pressure, such as a landing in her bipedal mode. This does allow for movement on all four limbs, but that is not the favored motion, and is often considered degrading by the proud seeker clan. Or, at least, what's left of it.
The bottom of the three segments of the leg is primarily composed of a compressed and then extended portion of the thruster, a dull metallic silver in coloring, with the stabilizing fin of her alt mode broken into several elongated shards after splitting into quarters, each quarter wrapping snugly around the leg, the narrow part of each quarter meeting at the lower knee joint, at the rear of the joint. That leaves the top point to meet with the foot. The outer splits of the stabilizing fin are carefully wrapped around the outer side of each leg, whereas the inner splits are on the inside of the leg. The front of this portion of her leg, along with the back, are the most reinforced as of the overlap. The rear overlap actually overlaps around a bipedal flight node, designed to help steer and support take off and acceleration. It also has the two quarters arch over the aforementioned thruster bar. While this segment is mostly black, it does have a bit of decoration in a series of red arches, reaching from the point at the ankle joint, up to the back of the leg, with a small cybertronian symbol inscribed into what could be called the outer calve. The autobot symbol is dusted in under it, visible but transparent on the dull black. This is on both legs.
The joint is covered in a rear-facing knee cap of sorts, one that is usually compressed and held inside of the other pieces of the jet, a dull metallic silver much like the thrusters. The front of it is nothing special, only a slightly paler metallic silver, as it is the reinforced joint in itself.
The second third is comprised of a collection of the mostly-rounded pieces of the portion under the stabilizer fin, compressed into the circle after being split and closed off, the closing bar at the back of this support, making this the strongest part of the middle support as according to armor. This is a dull black in color, little attention called to it in the main design.
The upper portion of the leg is much more human, vaguely like the thigh, except that it is forced at a slightly forward angle, like a backslash, in order to balance out the double joint. This is comprised of a modified twist of the inner workings of the jet, making it mostly a dull silver - but it is stripped over with black, in a mostly covering pattern - with two rounded triangular holes in it, pointed toward the knee, reaching from the back of the 'thigh' to the front, almost touching itself. At the end of this section, reaching over the joint - which is basically a backwards version of the previously mentioned joint - and into the middle section is a tube that resembled a reinforced version of a bendy straw, containing the material required for the thruster on her leg to work. This is a weak point in her armor, but, if ruptured, it will only partially affect her flight pattern. It will take her longer to lift off, and her steering will be slightly affected. Since her alt mode uses nearly an entirely different system to fly, it does not affect her ability to fly in jet form.
Her hips are, on the outside, two rings connected by the same kind of stuff as the extra hose in the leg design. However, upon striking this hose with enough force, the hydraulic pulls inside of the hip joint may be ruptured, limiting the use of her leg and potentially crippling her. The ring on bottom is smaller than the ring on top, which allows it to slide much further into the upper ring. Both rings are dull metallic silver. There is essentially a trap-door design in the upper armor of her leg that allows it to bend a bit further, making her capable of bringing the upper knee joint within four to five feet of her chest. This is covered partially by a piece of armor over the lower half of her torso, under the waist, that wraps around to build a slightly more human shape, using the nose of the jet, upside-down, split again to fit around the hip. The area between the split is a portion of the cockpit, which continues up and into the waist, the more gradual curve fitting well into the design. The front stabilizer fins break apart to create a small design on the lower back as a web work of the inner portions of the jet form in the middle. A more solid metallic grey piece reaches up, under the nose and cockpit portions but over the web work, and is a more connected piece of the area. The web work itself is lighter, a slightly shinier silver, and almost looks like a lower back tattoo - which, of course, it couldn't be, but the similarities are astounding. A rounded piece of the jet seems to meld into the lower parts, reaching up to the waist, which is yet another of the bendy straw pieces. It is, however, protected by a mish mesh of inner plates, the same deep red as is seen on her lower legs, but holds evidence of pieced together splits. The belt piece is only slightly off of the rest of the armor, and can bend a bit as the waist shifts. The lower part of the torso can fit in the upper part to allow a bit more bend. The wrap-around piece folds over just a bit in the back to add a bit more shape, and guards her spinal struts a bit better.
Her upper torso is another chunk of the main body to the jet, reaching into what is a layered system of armor, building the one most armored part of her body. The center of this is even more compounded over her spark, as the front most part of the cockpit, with an inlay of dull black metal, tilts into the crease between the solid 'rib' area and the overlaying shirt style, protecting her spark and adding a bit more to the traditional seeker style that accents her form. The first layer over the solid piece looks a bit like that part of the plane was inverted, as a glittering assortment of pieces of inner jet workings are twisted and broken to form a vague decoration, almost like a see through shirt - which is then covered mostly by a 'vest' of sorts, the back covered by the primary flight engine of the plane, which will be spoken more about later, and the sides of the vest being a tinted version of the remainder of the cockpit, the front being an inner held piece of dull red metal. There are actually several layers here, this is just the primary part that is seen of the upper tors chest area. Because of the layering and the positioning of the cockpit, she does end up have a very feminine shape, which she was going for, without making it look overly intentional. She is also protecting her spark, as previously mentioned, much better than almost any other part of her body.
Her arms are fairly simple, much more so than her legs. However, to allow the acrobatic style that she prefers, they had to be built slim, flexible, and strong - leaving armor a bit lower on the list. Not that she has a list. With her shoulder construction comprised of several hydraulic levers and beams to allow maximum arm movement, a rotating node forms the actual shoulder joint, which is otherwise stationary. A firm rod reaches down from this joint, covered halfway down the top part of the arm in a dull black, scraped together from extra bits of the large wings, firmly set over a second layer underneath of the same thing - allowing her arm to twist around as needed, while slightly camouflaging the actual point of rotation and double-layering the armor in that particular spot. In this spot another layer of hydraulic beams are stationed on the rotational point, on the inside of the arm. When these shift, it can create a motion in the thinner mesh of armor to allow a bit of clearance for the parts - creating an effect similar to muscle movement. The comparison isn't inaccurate, either, as this portion is indeed the muscle of her movement throughout her body. Past the elbow we see a similar armor effect, but it is more scarce, as the skeleton of her form acts as the armor here - making her arm at her wrist slightly thin by comparison, but still strong. Her hands are very basic, ending sharp, but not sharp enough to injure accidentally - except for humans, which she usually acts very delicately with unless using her holoform. The joints are built internally, making her hand much more sensitive as it is made more hollow to allow the hydraulic points are shrunk down and inside the hand, which is backed by a single black metal plate. The design does not make the actual force of her joints weaker - it just protects the hydraulics and saves a bit of pain.
One her back, as previously mentioned, are the twin flight engines are stationed between her shoulders, along the spinal path - approximately what would be between the shoulder blades, if she had them. Her wings are perched on this base, but because they are disproportionately matched with her body size due to the proportions of the plane, they had to be broken up to allow a slightly more appropriate build. Most of this broken off part is on her arms, with one thicker strip wrapping over her shoulders along the 'collarbone' area of her front, broken in portions. The rest of the wings are split in two, with the one on the outer side over the one on the inner, the one on the inner flipped upside down. This is where most of her bipedal flight capability is, and there is a node across the center of the lower half of her torso that is also flight capable. However, aiming for the 'backpack design' will disable flight in both bipedal and alt form modes.
Her head is, at first glance, fairly basic. However, it is in fact a very complex design. There are several layers and moving parts as necessary to create not only the illusion of a human face but also a battle-safe face guard. While nothing is technically battle safe, there is dangerous and more dangerous - she prefers to stay in the dangerous end of the spectrum. Her face itself is the lighter shade of gray, whereas there is an outer layer of deep red, including four strips along her face. Two reach to a point halfway between her jaw joint and her chin, whereas the other two move along her cheek-bone-area until in line with the out edge o either optic. These can extend to form a battle mask, and under them are a couple of the ridges required to make a more human appearance. There are two red points reaching down her forehead to a point halfway between the middle of her optics and the outer edge of the optics. The next layer is a darker gray, which reaches a point down the center of her forehead, narrowing and reaching about halfway down the bridge of her nose, smack between her eyes. There are two higher ridges on this layer that poke out of the next layer, a smooth double bump that forms a rounded square in the front and goes to the back of her head, creating two points, not exaggeratedly over the back of her head, but barely reaching past the curve that marks the back of it. The third layer is black, and it is on this layer that her ear hubs are. This has a single special mark other than that - a point ridge, triangular in the front, that reaches to the same point in the back as the other two. The bottom edge reaches down in a point over the gray one, ending at the top of the nasal ridge. Amongst all the points are small nodes, that connect and form a visor. Because of her heightened sensory nodes, her eyes are extremely sensitive - so most of the time, the visor will be on during the day, to avoid an overdose of light and keep her processors from straining too much to sort out what she's looking at and the light glare. At night, however, she's perfectly fine with or without the visor, and she prefers to go without - making her a bit of a night owl.
Her ears fins extend from a sort of a sort of a vent design, which allowed her to catch more sound in front of her, and blocks some of the noise behind her. The back of this vent is an ear composed of three ridges, a bridge ridge, and a connecting cable. The bridge extends more directly from the vent, a solid part that holds the first ridge. The first ridge is the only one of the main three that never moves, and it reaches to the back 'corner' of her head, extending none past there. The second ridge is at about a forty five degree angle and is about two thirds the length of the first, while the third is half of even that and points straight back. The point of origin for all three is at about the same point the gray layer reaches on her nose - halfway down the bridge. The connecting cable reaches just a little bit inward from each of the three primary ridges and, in battle mode, snaps the three together into a single ridge. It usually glows blue.
So what with her feminine, cat-like structure and her armor-scanty frame, it's pretty clear that she strongly depends on her athletics to get through a combat situation. If one never stops moving, it is harder to get a definitive target. However, despite this, she is still a very large bot, reaching up to forty four feet tall and weighing a nice twelve to twelve and a half tons - nothing easy to lift. Yet she takes domain to the air. In a battle situation, she's fairly known to only use the ground as a touch point, staying in the air most of the time, dancing around her foe, as though it's an art. To her, it is, though - in more ways than one.------------------------------------------------------------------------------YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH

Personality: Firefly is usually a gentle, vibrant personality. She loves other bots and people, and sees them each as their own, unique personalities. She is genuinely curious to understand the people around her. However, despite this being her pure personality, it has been affected by her situation on Paradron, and she has been turned into a shy, watchful person. She does love to meet people, but she isn't very good about it, and will often jump to conclusions about their personalities, or distance herself from them to avoid getting angry with them. She isn't, however, naive. Despite the 'gentle giant' outlook, she is slightly cynical. She often believes that people will automatically hate her, and this belief has been reinforced by life back home so often. Upon meeting her, she will want to speak with you, but won't know what to say. She's hyper-analytical of potentially rude comments, and will try to let one or two things slide - but she's likely to make enemies faster than friends, or get in a fight. She does, usually, regret getting into a fight or an argument, especially if it was an assumption she'd made that helped kindle the fight.
She carries a lot of guilt with her, and this can make her snappy at times, make her not want to sit still. At the worst of times, it can make her cynical and self depreciating, while normally she's able to put this to the back of her mind. She blames herself for things that she didn't cause, things she has no way of controlling, on top of things of her own fault. She has trouble letting go of the past, and so she works instead to distract herself.
She loves many different forms of art, particularly three dimensional styles with light and liquid, acting, and a little bit of two dimensional sketching. She does work with metal sculpturing some, but usually only to bring out anything in other art. She is also a warrior, focused on hand to hand and blade styles, the kinds of forms that make her comparatively light on her feet and hard to catch. However, her one big forte is in singing. She loves music, she loves sound, and she loves being able to manipulate it, to please others - even if she's not particularly fond of those others.
However, above music, her trine is the most important thing to her. They are her singing group, her family, her life, and the balancing force to her erratic mindset. She loves them and she loves her symbiot, Kitty, more than anything else, and she highly regrets bringing them pain of any kind. This is one guilt she carries with her. Despite her love of her trine, she tends to act as her own, treating them as entirely different bots instead of extensions of herself, like a trine should be, and she expects them to act the same way, unless they actually work to do something together. She does, however, above everybody else, expect that her trine can be open with each other, and is deeply saddened when this is not the case.
She absolutely, one hundred percent despises any form of lie. She believes that lies and secrets - which, by the way, are a form of lie - are one of the biggest causes of pain. It is lies and secrecy that have caused a lot of the most painful moments in her life, and it is these moments that build a lot of who she is today.
She tends to have a very adamant personality when needed, and can be a firm leader - at least, of small groups. Having been born a trine leader, leading others to specific goals is something she's always practiced, from learning flight patterns to achieving their goals.
Being a bot on earth, she has found many interesting twists. Most of which she is not very fond of. She doesn't like most of the terrain, the ground being made of many separate particles instead of the sheet of metallic ground she was used to. She can deal with snow, but she's not fond of the cold. She's okay with rock, but not gravel. She hates - HATES sand. She can deal with mud, but finds it messy. She also despises birds, for being dumb and taking up air space, and bugs for being messy and holding more inside than is physically possible. There are a lot of small things about the organic planet that bug her, but she does see the potential in life there, and is willing to accept it, even for the nagging things.
Strengths: Firefly is great at dodging and not getting hit, and is very agile in air or on the ground. She's also fairly good at taking control of a situation gone awry - even if she doesn't have the rank in the Autobots to do so. She knows, for the most part, what needs to be done and can usually come up with a way to do it.
Weaknesses: She prefers melee combat, which counteracts her agility in not getting hit. She's very sensitive to pain, and when she goes into a rage she's as good as gone. She's not skilled at ranged fighting, but it is her strong point with what defensive abilities she has.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET
Family: Paradox (Femme Creator, Deceased), Shadowflight (Mech Creator, Deceased), Trine Mates (One Sister, One Brother), Starclaw (Aka, Kitty, Symbiote)
History: Paradox and Shadowflight were two seekers who had lost their trine in the chaos following to beginning of the world war, that which was called the War of Cybertron by Paradronian refugees. They were two of the last bots who had managed to escape Cybertron, and two of the only seekers to live there. In the time developing Paradron, Seekers, hated by most of the society due to the prominent role of Seekers in the Decepticon army, started a small town to develop their own society. It was a beautiful city, even though there was far too much space for the seekers themselves. They had developed it in a fashion that allowed ground-locked bots to live there as well, and so the city wasn't exclusively seeker. It was, however, during this project to build the city that the two met each other. They filled the void that their missing trines had left, and, hey hey, Firefly and her trine were born.
Firefly was the first of the trio to online, and the most dominant personality, making her the natural trine leader. She was, however, born with a natural glitch in her spark's personality matrix - one that was, unfortunately, common in seekers. This was a glitch that created conflict between different aspects of her processors, those being referenced commonly as the battle computer and the emotional hub. In other words, her emotions often swayed her use of logic in a situation, bringing her to a violent rage far too easily. Caught at creation of the spark or while dormant, the glitch is fairly easy to fix. But with the refugee state of the planet, medics were few and far between, often seen as unimportant in comparison to the setup of a working civilization. So the glitch remained dormant.
After a while living in the Seeker City, dubbed by the builders as Dynasta (die-nah-stay), Firefly ran across a young Cybercat, a pretty stray that was very much the worse for wear in the city, physically worn and low on energon, starving out. She adopted the Cybercat, initially meaning only to care for the pretty silver cat with the charming white-blue eyes until she was ready to take on the world again. However, by the time she was in good health, she and Firefly had grown very close, having forged a symbiotic bond, each others supporter and friend.
In the forging of this bond, though, the stress of supporting her trine and her symbiot equally was tested, and this stress added up as she blamed herself, guilt coming in from every little bit. First she was just really snappy, but soon enough her glitch became active, and she had the occasional violent outburst.
It was soon realized that there really was a problem here, and bots who had already mistrusted seekers were even more wary. Her trine encouraged her to find a way to relax, to distract herself. Her escape from herself was a vital part of continued life, and so she took on several hobbies - from relaxed martial arts to light manipulation to music, she looked for something that would help her take her mind off of everything else that she managed to stress herself with.
She took specialty in these things, and the trine sang together. Her Symbiot, later named Starclaw but often called Kitty, helped her in her Martial Arts training as the two trained side by side to watch each other's backs. As a solo activity, she worked in light manipulation, something she'd admired ever since she first saw Dynasta from the sky, with the natural light show ever present, even in the day light, which lit the city up at night and overwhelmed the distant star by day. The star the planet revolved around was distant, too. It made it interesting to try to play with the light, when the light was so far away, so pale and unconcentrated, often blocked by other planets and asteroids revolving the same star. It had to be focused, collected, charged. That was the hardest challenge, and it in itself took much of her time. However, outside stress still mounted as her curiosity about the world hit a peak, particularly with the knowledge Kitty gave her.
She soon discovered the lies that they'd lived in since they'd been born, soon discovered their true origins on Cybertron, the warring state of their people. Her peaceful world was shattered with the mere knowledge that she'd been lied to her whole life. She didn't know what to believe anymore, and her creators, her siblings, didn't know how to help her. Her glitch kicked in one night, after she got frustrated with her creators, frustrated with the lies, and in the violent outburst, she accidentally killed her mech creator, and her femme creator fell quickly in the whiplash of the spark bond.
She snapped out of it after a short time, quickly realizing just what had happened. In a panic, she fled the planet, with an abrupt panic that only a seeker could manage, likely to never return. Her arrival on earth was one that was played out in a non-traditional manner - though little about her was truly traditional. She joined the Autobots, despite mistrust from a couple of them, and became a part of their group - one of the few flying units. She was the lone seeker, unknowing if her trine would follow, or her symbiot.------------------------------------------------------------------------------IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?
Weaponry: Firefly has a handful of weapons on hand. She has two blades unattached to herself that are sheltered between her wings and her back. These blades have a very sturdy design, with a motion for stabbing, as well as a blade inlaid into the sharp rod that allows a slicing motion as well. These are her preferred weapons.
She also has two pistols of fair strength that are kept inside of the nose of her alt mode, on her hip, as well as two arm-canons that are seen on many of the G1 seeker models, that can extend out of her arm and are aimed with the whole arm, braced with the whole body. These are her most powerful weapons with the highest range, and can shift to the armor in her upper arm without leaving an exterior trace of existing.
Extra: Firefly has extra sensors peppering her entire body, which can be a good thing and a bad thing. She can see and hear and feel things all around her with much keener senses, but they are very sensitive to pain, and feed her very detailed inputs - which means every single particle of dirt can overwhelm the feet, and every puff of air aggravates the extra sensors in her body. She can get used to most of this, and even comes to enjoy it after a while, but it will take that while for her to get used to the organic planet.------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT MEEarth. This is it. She'd been in space for far too long, and only to come upon an organic planet. She'd vaguely been suspecting it, but in her quest for truth she'd gotten a lot of speculations. There hadn't been a definitive answer. She swooped down on the planet, the air peppering her form. She was headed straight for one of the many massive pools of water that the planet hosted. She really, really, did not want to get wet. With a vague, panicked motion, she scanned an alt mode that was flying over the land mass she was about to miss, taking it's shape while she was falling at the angle she'd hit the atmosphere. It wasn't a traditional way to find an alt mode, but she really did not want to get wet.
She managed to stabilize her flight, now flying over the ocean to an entirely different continent, with the wind sliding over the new alt mode. It was a primitive design, but she could work with it. The air wasn't as thick here as it was back home, either, and the scarcity of the air felt odd. Paradron being a much larger planet, it attracted much more air, a much larger atmosphere, and a good deal more air pressure. This felt sparse and the air thin, and it would take a while to get used to. Until she did get used to it, getting off the ground would be vastly different.
With a sigh, she moved to travel as fast as she could, to the US, to find bots - any bots, Autobot, Decepticon, whatever, so that she could orient herself on this new planet. She felt a distinct hole in her alt mode, too, that was left open for Starclaw - her precious Kitty - to take root. It was a spot for a weapon, and in that sense the symbiot could still help with Aerial battle. It was nice, really.
