Skill:9------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE DETAILSOptimus is about 28 feet tall with his main coloration being red and blue with some silver in most of the front, parts of his legs and feet, his hands and his face. The front part of his alternate form makes much of his upper body, the grill and front parts tucking up under the wind shield that makes up his chest ‘abs’. His bumper and part of the front sides fold out to create his arms and his hands while his back end comes down with part of the undercarriage make up his midsection and pelvic area. Finally the bed of the truck form folds down and separates to create his legs and feet.
His front back tires come to rest on the back of his shoulders and the four back tires rest on the back of either of his legs. His head is slightly circular on the top to a more square shape on the bottom, his face being a light gray and will sometimes be covered by a battle mask along the lower parts of his face. Personality:Optimus is one of the most compassionate and caring Autobots one might meet despite sometimes appearing to be stern and serious most of the time. But beneath the exterior of a stern, battle worn soldier Optimus can be quite a kind sparked mech and sees himself like all the Autobots he works with and not just as a leader. None the less he stays true to his goals and his word, not willing to back down from a challenge or battle unless it’s absolutely necessary.
Though this doesn’t mean Optimus like to show his humorous side from time to time, sadly it’s a rarity for him as he often is worried about the war and those under his command. He isn’t even afraid to show grief over the loss of a comrade or the joy of when they are successful and he always feels there is hope to the dark times that plague their war. Most notable of Optimus’ personality is he is fairly trusting and willing to give others a second chance.
Strengths:Optimus is a rather strong mech and fairly good in defense all due to his build. He is also a calm minded mech who doesn’t lose his cool often in a stressful situation and will be willing to put himself on the front lines just to protect his comrades. Optimus also seems quite capable of hiding his emotions and to not make his teammates worry, least mode of the time.
Weaknesses:However though Optimus may be good in endurance and stamina he isn’t utterly fast and his agility isn’t as good as most, such as Arcee. Though Optimus can also keep his composure and hide his emotions this often weighs heavily on his shoulders and his spark, causing his body to become stressed and many to worry about his well being. His most notable weakness however is being too trusting and this giving people or bots a second chance often can be used against him.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET

History: Optimus Prime first started out as a clerk or librarian in the Iacon city's Hall of Records and was quite satisfied with his job. During this time Optimus gained a love for Cybetronian history and read much of the past histories which eventually lead to his worry of the current present, especially with the caste system and the higher ups being so corrupted. He felt it went against what the original Primes had achieved for peace for all sentient life on Cybertron and he eventually set out on an agenda to protest the caste system, which at the same time he met Megatronus, better known as Megatron in the gladiator fighting circuit.
Though the two had a similar goal it was apparent they had two different ways of stopping the caste system, Megatron preferred a more militaristic way while Optimus wanted to settle things peacefully. At the time the two only had friction between them and there were already signs of war going on but when Optimus was given the position of Prime where Megatron made it clear he had aimed for the position that was when the conquest began. Optimus led the new band of Autobots against Megatron's legion of Decepticons, taking part in missions such as the Kaon Prison rescue mission to save Zeta Prime, battles such as Kalis and Iacon, and in the final battle against Trypticon during the purging of Cybertron to rid of the dark energon.
During the Generation One project Optimus was one of the pilots to leave in search of the Allspark, in hopes of helping the planet to rid of the poison it now suffered. With Ratchet, shortly after his repairs, Arcee,Bumblebee, Bulkhead, and Cliffjumper they travelled to a different galaxy where they hoped to find the Allspark. Instead they found themselves on Earth having to fight the Decepticons once more and still do to this day. But the stay has resulted in Optimus having to make a partnership with the government and even agreed to the experiment of combining cybertronian CNA with Human DNA for those willing.
However some of the experiments taken place have left Optimus disgusted and wanting to end the experimentations yet he has had no choice in the matter. He has also made it clear he himself will not partake in the procedures due to risks and the fact of unknowing what could result from the tests.------------------------------------------------------------------------------IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?
Weaponry:Optimus' choice of weaponry includes retractable energon blades in his wrists and two Ion Cannons located behind his back.

Optimus quietly watched his team as they were relaxing, a rare time they had and normally didn't get. Though he himself was somewhat relaxed he hadn't been able to bring himself to enjoy the relaxation, instead he turned his thoughts to what the Decepticons could possibly be up to now and then. They had been fairly quiet lately which was making the young Prime quite uneasy and in wonder, wondering what they were doing or what they would do next.
For now they were only left guessing and waiting and Optimus wordlessly left to the outside of their base in Nevada, looking around at the barren landscape. For the time he reflected on the years they had been fighting, going through losses and victories, mournful times and joyful ones. Sometimes the war took it's toll but other times it was surprising to know they were even in a war at all. Regardless Optimus knew it was far from over, far from them resulting in peace at all.
Even if the decepticons were taken care of there they would be other places and it pained Optimus' spark to know this was the truth. "I might be at the end of my function before this war ends." he said aloud to himself and just gazed towards the horizon, only silently hoping there would one day be an end.
