Other Characters: Not yet------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHO ARE YOU?
Name: Danielle Gwendolyn Messick
Nicknames: Danny
Age: Physically and mentally, sixteen. In reality, she's only been alive for ten or eleven years.
Gender: Female
Route: Straight
Status: A job? Well, when ''allowed'' and asked of, she designs and engineers weaponry. Alongside weapon engineering and being a bit of a bomb technician, she has interested herself in the medical field. With help form schooling and studies, she has learned far more than just the basics when it comes to human (and some animal) medical care alongside the personal hands on aid and teachings from her father, Ratchet, when it comes to repairing a comrade.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE DETAILSShe's a complete redhead, though lacks the freckles and pale skin of your usual ginger. She lacks a fine tan but her skin has a complexion somewhere in the middle saying she gets around in both hot and cold places. She's normally seen wearing a black or wearing a white or grey t-shirt and the usual blue jeans. Below that, Convers of black. It's not uncommon to see either a burn hole or some sort of substance such as oil on her clothing. Other than her usual strong facial expression that says she knows her stuff and she's not going to be pushed around by anyone, her olive green eyes say it all. She can be a bit of a smart ass if she really wants, she likes pushing your buttons, and she very much enjoys payback on Decepticons. This five foot six teen is here to turn your world upside down until it fits hers.------------------------------------------------------------------------------YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH
Likes:
- Bringing design ideas and blue prints to life.
- Ratchet and Ambosine.
- Others respecting that if they want respect, they'd better learn she is much like a lioness. Don't tell her what she can and cannot do. Obviously, she could create a dangerous weapon that is bound to blow up in her face. She prefers if she's asked in the very least not to if it is that much of a concern.
- Learning something new in the medical field or in engineering that she didn't know. Basically, learning about anything that takes her fancy. She can be like a sponge for certain details, for information she finds useless or unneeded however, good luck getting it to stick.
- Successfully irritating the enemy and getting away with it.
- Putting a deserving loud mouth in their place, among her explosives or in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
- Being able to explore as she pleases, though she keeps herself bound to working and helping when she knows it's needed. Expect some night time wandering when she believes most all are asleep.
- Messing with others. You'd look at Ratchet, then at her, you'd look at Ratchet again and decide it's safe enough, then look back down for Danny and find that the lower half of your body is now covered in random neon colored pant with her standing aside, looking back up at your as if she doesn't even notice what happened.
- Nature
- Winning a ''game'' of chase. Being able to our run her pursuer and avoid being blasted or smashed to death is great, but tends to make her think more and more that this is the outcome that will always occur. She'll learn when she comes back horribly maimed, if she comes back.
- Successfully blowing her enemy up, from the inside out. This is quite the challenge and to her, like what many Native Americans once did. If they could run through a group of soldiers on horses, armed and all, and tag one with the entire palm of their hand while making it out untouched, then a feather was added to their headdress. This is a lot like with the bombs, only no headdress or feathers. Just the sound of an explosion from behind her if the opponent hasn't snagged her to hold her to the explosive.
- Winning an argument. If she does and you've really challenged her to this fight you have surely lost, you might find a "HA! VICTORY IS MINE!" face on her at the end.
Dislikes:
- Unless it's a situation with the enemy and rather with her own peers and such, she tends to not take kindly towards commands. If anything, the most you might get is a raised eyebrow and then her wanting to defy you just to spite your ''command''. There's a difference of being ordered by government officials that believe they can walk all over whoever they please and higher up comrades however that mean well. Those, she will listen to. If it doesn't happen, earning respect or liking from her might do the trick.
- Basic racism from the disrespectful against Techno Organics, or anyone who just views her as something created in a lab to be used as their tool. Speak of her like that when you need her for something and you'll just be laughed at in your own face. Though usually no matter what, she'll help in a medical situation if you're that severely injured. If your hand is broken when using such racism around her, it's likely she might of been the one to break it.
- Others pointing out her people skills or at times, heated temper.
- Her time being wasted unless she's wasting it with someone who doesn't mind.
- Being left alone with strangers or those she doesn't know well. She tends to be a bit shy at times, even if she does feel generous enough that day for friendly welcomes. When she dislikes the company, not because of what they're like, but because of how strange and upsetting being around strangers can feel, you'll notice how stiff and tense she gets along with how much patient she suddenly lacks. It's not uncommon to see her slink off elsewhere more comfortable. For a few trips she's went off on to aid in some government work, to visit colleges in viewing what she might want in the future, or whatever you'd like to imagine, she's tried hard to have patience and just wait it out with an overall good structure. Speaking with others she doesn't know has become easier, but that doesn't mean she trusts them anymore than she did before. Trust pretty much tends to be the same game with her as it is her dad. You need to earn it or at least grow on her a bit more before she'll want to remain in your company.
- Having her work confiscated.
- When others smoke around her.
- Her speed being out done by another danger.
- Being wrong and someone either rubbing it in her face or being all "Told ya so."
Personality: Though this spitfire may seem simple, at times lacking social skills, but writing her off and leaving her where she is could prove to be a bit of a mistake. The detailing behind the red head is great, and once you get to know her, you'll find she could prove to be an interesting ally and a great friend. Just keep in mind, it's much easier to reach out to her. One should never expect Danny to seek them out, even if she's desperate and in need of help. She'll stick with those she knows well enough. If she has a problem, she'll keep it bottled up. She knows how much stress she puts on her dad at times, leading to a habit of letting it all blow up on her before looking for him. Yelling at her when she's caused an accident leaves a bit of a sore spot. If she's allowed to help, if she can force herself to stick around, she'll either hide out in her room after or start packing to go away for awhile if she returns at all. She hates failing others in a sense of endangering them, letting them become harmed, or being unable to save them on the medical table. Seeing her cry is not a common occasion, a comrade dying before her would probably do it.
Though it really puts weight down on Ratchet's worries like a sadistic big footed, pain inducing serial killer, you'll find Danny often puts herself in harm's way. Some who don't know her well enough find that she is either cocky or a bit of a show off, but in all honesty she's not. If she ever puts herself in harm's way either she was in it to begin with due to an attack, or it's for others. It's default that she would protect someone, even if they might be a stranger and her hands aren't full at the moment, but become close and she'll be your shield. Don't mess with Danny's close friends and loved ones unless you think you can take the painful death afterward. Her only advice when you're on her hit list, "Hold still or I'll wire the bomb wrong and then you'll die slower." At that point you could call her sadistic. No, just out with a vengeance. A trait you might not really find in her father, but she definitely believes in payback to an extent. Though, it would depend on what you did to deserve it in the first place. For instance, kill Ambosine, and just out of pure karma, she'll make sure to end you the same exact way you ended his existence.
On the note of endangering herself, she tends to try and use the fact that she has incredible speed and agility to try and convince herself that she's safe and that death shall not come to her as long as that is there. She has fears like the rest of us, but they do not include dying. She would just much rather her death not go to waste and had been used to help aid the Autobots. Fear is not in the job description of a Danny. Her face has been quite literally, in explosives which her speed has saved her from.
Where she gets this one or well, how it developed so far, it could possibly be due to the mixture from the human donor and the Autobot donor, both ''donations'' used in her creation. A 'tinkerer' might be a good word to use for her, though when looking between her and Wheeljack, she tends to stick to weaponry and is a lot more careful so not to blow herself and or the base up. She doesn't want to end up putting others in the med bay, Danny doesn't think she could get rid of that guilt. Though she'd find it unpleasant herself to put herself there if she survived it, she doesn't always seem as concerned for her own safety. The worst that's ever happened is a a timed explosive on her in a training session on one of her ''trips'' nearly went off in her face. She had dart zip away, leave it afar, and zip back in a matter of ten seconds. The explosion had sent her flying right into a car and she came home on crutches. She has a few scars, though seeing as she's not one to show off her body as eye candy, you don't tend to find them.
Alright, it's quite easy to see that Miss Messick is no morning person. Getting her up is the hard part. A lot of the time she'll be nice, other times she'll more than request five more minutes and one may have to reenter her room to get her out of bed. If you know what pesters her or perhaps remind her of the delicious wonders of hot cocoa that could soon be awaiting her, then you might get a response. Her remembering a project she had been excited for could also do the trick. She can be a real crab about it too if she really doesn't want to be woken up, believe you me.
Hard headed some might say, or perhaps stubborn. If she needs to do something nothing will keep her from it. If a friend or another is in trouble [though especially friend], she won't leave them in it. Danny isn't just some little speedy road runner, she has learned some parkour moves by studying videos of such. Not perfect at it, but with her agility and speed it's enough to make her one hell of a dodge ball player that's for sure. No matter what you tell this girl, even Ratchet, if you're down or she knows you're going to be taken down, she's going after their attackerand attempt to take them out whether it's with explosives or not. Remember, being a medic in training, she knows a lot of the right spots to hit with a big ass wrench. Like father like daughter.
This gives away who her Autobot father is... Her stink eye, and at times, the way she might react to things. The stink eye tells it all though, that stink eye will get you. You have been warned.
Last but certainly not least, Danielle hates having to lie especially to her Dad. She's not a bad liar, the fact she avoids lying unless it's to Decepticons makes her able to get away with it quite easily since others would be more prone to believe her due to that. She doesn't want to lose her Dad's trust by lying to him though, and when he makes her promise stuff such as to be careful about something, if she doesn't want to you can tell since she'll really try to avoid promising that. Though if she does, she'll stick to it.
Strengths: Super speed and agility might be one of the definite perks to being a Danny. It's often hard to tell one with such an ability that they're grounded and aren't going anywhere. It's also quite annoying and distracting when your target is all over the place while mocking you. If she can do nothing more, this girl's base job could be 'distraction'.
A strength, this would count, she's your go to girl if you want a certain weapon or explosive built or in the very least, designed. Her thumb print definitely shows a signature in her creations. They're meant to take down large ass holes with a smile on your face.
Danny fights to the death. She could be broken in so many ways, even if you've paralyzed half of her body, she'll still attempt to get back up. She's not taking death lying down if she can help it.
In a time of need and things are looking rough, she could show some leadership skills but for a moment. She wouldn't take it up to command full on attacks and battle plans for the future due to the fact that it is not her place nor has she wanted that job in the first place. When she takes charge, it's a spur of the moment to get everyone to stop fighting, to get head butters to knock it off, or when trying to save everyone's skins. When a time like this calls, writing her off as some weak kid definitely hits a sore spot. If everyone survives, you'll most likely forever be on her shit list.
Fear, yep, she fears as all do. She'd be quite afraid if some Decepticon threatened to pick her apart, she'd be scared that she couldn't get away from a cannon blast in time, just like anyone else. The thing is, she has fought her fears rather well in the past when it comes to a fight. If she can do something about it, she can summon up her courage. Of course, if she'd strapped down and was going to die a long, drawn out painful death, then the most she could muster up is just try not to give them the satisfaction of a scream.
Weaknesses: Whether to not she is ''unauthorized'' to do something, she tends to do it anyways if she wants to badly enough. Sometimes, she takes the ''don't do it'' as a ''it's suggested that you shouldn't'' instead and has to learn a hard lesson before she gets the idea.
Her father, of course anyone would stand down if it meant their father was going to be harmed, who wouldn't? Honestly if Ratchet died, she wouldn't know what to do. She'd most likely block everyone and everything out, still help with the Med Bay of course. Then again, that's most likely where she'd always be after that. Never talking to anyone, never let in any of the light. After awhile, she'd most likely go after her father's killer and end them even if such means ending herself.
She can most definitely hold a grudge and a passion for revenge. Grudges are more likely to occur, you have to really do some damage for her to come in on a serious case of vegeance. Of course, this could blind her, but only in the worst case scenarios. You wouldn't see her going out of her way often except maybe to plant a bomb. Other than that, she knows she's needed at base without putting more trouble and a need for counter attack on their hands.
She tends to think you can't get her due to her speed. Now and then she learns she can be harmed, though she uses the fact that she still has all of her limbs to convince herself that she'll be fine.
Her lack of trust in others. Her trust doesn't come cheap, and most of the time, it turns her into a real conversation killer. She might shy away from others that she can't easily find things in common with.
Well, the government wanted a Ratchet 2.o, they got a Danny. With the two genetics mixed to create her, they got a bomb tech, weapons engineer, who takes great interest in the medical field. The downside on her part is that she's often thinking of weapon designs and has trouble getting her mind off of it. Like some chaotic form of addiction, she often finds working on her weapons and new ideas to be relaxing, stimulating, fun, entertaining, and something that soothes her very Spark. If you listened closely to the hum, you might almost think her own soul was purring. It gives her something to do and often time, and excuse to stay away from others unless she's specifically needed for something. She enjoys time with her dad more than you could imagine. Unfortunately, she has her reclusive moments.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET
Family: Ratchet
History: In simple ways of putting it, the government saw Ratchet as being far more than useful. They knew of the ways of creating a hybrid between human and Cybertronian, so, why not give using Ratchet as the Cybertronian parent a try? At the same time, they didn't see taking care of her from infant stages we all know and love, but rather perhaps wait to ''awaken'' her when her body and mind have reached age four. At the same time, perhaps her developing Spark would be more stable in terms of hoping the offspring would survive. Little did they know the mix they were creating would bring some trouble to their hands in due time.
At first, Ratchet didn't seem to fancy the idea but the two were acquainted near age five and boy was she excited to meet her parent. They had held her back for a bit to keep an eye on her progress, health, and rate of development. Everything appeared to be normal and well along with her picking things up rather quick. The 'creators' saw this as a good sign.
After Danny was to stay at base, she gained personality, one that seemed rather genetic. The first sign of that, her Dad's signature stink eye, passed down to her. Often she was saddened to see her father gone for far too long, becoming rather lonesome in her days. As she aged, being schooled online by computer and by books, she made trips now and then for the purpose she was made, to help. She stayed close to aid her Dad, happy to be in his company and picking up naturally on the medical field. The other thing she seemed to pick up with the more she learned, weaponry. One day when she was left alone in a conference room, she found a hand gun in a drawer and they came back to see she had successfully taken it apart and put it back together herself. Of course, had to carefully take it away. The eight year old was unamused, not seeing what the big fuss was about, it's not like she flagged anyone with it.
From there her love for weapons engineering and bomb tech grew. She enjoyed taking things apart, and reassembling them her way. The government people involved hadn't expected to see this from her, though began trying to school her on that as well. There have been quite a few occasions where she has become annoyed, told a few off, and told them to leave her the hell alone so that she could work. She had began working on weaponry more and more while her dad was on his trips, as if to try and fill a void. At times when around humans, she felt like she was just some toy or tool. Finally at about age twelve she laid down the law. If she was going to stick around and do anything more for them, she would be seen as a person by all. A few already did, but not everyone, and she was tired of it. She wasn't some lab toy, she was a person. If they tried to detain her, she brought up the friends and father back at base who just wouldn't agree with that.
Endangering herself seemed to be an ongoing thing from the start of being alive. From the "Fourth of July Mayhem Mishap" where she had attempted to modify fireworks in New York and caused a great bit of destruction instead, to nearly killing herself on quite a few occasions. She hasn't told Ratchet about a few times 'trips' of hers for tests and training or other bits endangered her horribly, saying it was all her doing to avoid any confrontation with the others. One time was after she finally hit puberty and developed her ability of super speed and agility. They wanted to test just how fast she was after awhile and what kind of scenarios they could involve her in. She couldn't deactivate a timed bomb in time, at the last three seconds, zipping off to get it away from everyone before zipping back to try and get away from it. She was blasted through a building and ended up delaying her flight home for a few weeks because of her injuries. She came home on crutches and remained bed ridden for a bit due to broken ribs.
Today, she's finally returning from another 'trip', knowing she's now in charge of most of what she can and cannot do. Her last trip, she was speaking to a few government officials at a college for rocket tech, but she wasn't interested.------------------------------------------------------------------------------IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?
Extra: Nope------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT MEBut the Combaticon winning this fight wasn't in the best interest of others. Thanks to the help of KITT and the easy, troublesome creation bond signal tracking, what appeared to be a space bridge opened up out of nowhere for a figure to dart out of. The first, being an angry looking Danny with a warp missile launcher on her shoulder. "Pick on someone your own IQ you dense lug!" Though this retort was said under her breath, not wanting to give herself away.
What appeared to be a sixteen year old Techno Organic with reddish brown hair sped off to the side in a ripped blur, doing her best to get around damage done to the ground and get to an angle more behind Brawl before waiting the time limit to get her warp missile shoulder launcher to lock onto Brawl. She had been doing more and more with these, finding them to come in handy. As for the coordinates, none other than the Pacific Ocean. Her brothers would of settled for the brig, but she had a bone to pick with these Combaticons. Not all had had it in for her, but she wasn't about to go without introducing herself to another's hit list. //"We could feel you taking some hits, thought you could use some help."\\ With that, Ferret aimed at Brawl's aft as the best place that might avoid letting him shove Ratchet in the way or simply move a foot to get out of firing line. It seemed even a locked target could go wrong with this damned launcher. She'd need to tweak it more when she had time, like on the holidays. Unfortunately for her, firing the launcher had had enough kick to knock her on her ass with a heavy grunt.
