Who doesn't like a good little holiday plot? With a little bit of imagination, and willing participants to do the job, we can set up several fun little plots for our yearly holidays! Newer bots can learn a bit about human culture, older bots can revel in it, and humans... Well, they can make the experience more rich! In a role-playing universe where almost anything can happen, the holidays are a perfect focal point for memories and for our little plot bunnies to roam! I will list suggested plots here, along with the parts still needed to make them work and any information needed.[/blockquote]
Please note that these plots may be enacted any in character year, and don't have to be done immediately. Don't be afraid to volunteer for character slots! Also, if I have forgotten any holidays, particularly those foreign to the US, don't hesitate to inform me!
Also, all plots are subject to dismissal/editing by the admins! I don't choose what goes and stays, so don't get upset with me! Also, plots may have development suggested for them. Upon agreement by the main plot creator, this may be added/changed. Don't be afraid to add your ideas! This is how the best plots are born!Valentine's Day[Plot Title]Easter[Plot Title]Independence Day[Plot Title]HalloweenVamp Up the Base!
This plot is definitely more long term than just Halloween - however, the big apex of the plot will hit in the week of Halloween, which makes the timing that much more interesting. As the title suggests, there is a slight, little bitty case of vampirism involved. Now, this plot has multiple stages, but will really only have a couple of key characters - the creator of the virus, the creator of the cure, and, of course, the infected - who must be a techno-organic for this to work. To fit in with things, the virus itself has been modified, so that the subject is not actually undead, and, hopefully, not too overpowered - only what's necessary to the interest of a partially realistic vampire.

The Virus
Vampirism in general has, as previously noted, had to be modified, making the term 'vampire' a relatively loose term - though not, per say, as loose as Twilight related vampirism. Traditional vampires are known as seductive and elusive, but still very strong and powerful, with a constant thirst and a weakness for sunlight.
In this version of vampirism, it is, indeed, a virus - however, it is not contagious unless it is intentionally planted into the victim. The victim will feel woozy for a while, and will eventually fall into a coma-like state for about a week or two, in which vitals read as almost non-existent, and death seems imminent.
The victim will awaken suddenly, having had gone through some changes, though at first the only change will seem to be an odd thirst that water won't quench and oddly extended vampire-style canine teeth, attributed to a localized concentration of calcium and an over-reaction of the Cybertronian systems, creating canines strong enough to dig into weaker cybertronian armor.
Over time, this 'thirst' will grow much stronger, and sunlight will grow to seem brighter to the victim, until it hits two extremes, at which point the virus will be in full swing. The first extreme is the thirst, which will reach a point at which the 'hunter's instinct' kicks in, which will be explained later, whereas the second is that at which to victim will actually begin to burn in direct sunlight.
As to special abilities often referenced in vampire lore - these will only have effect as necessary to 'hunter's instinct', something that occurs when the character nears a food source, and makes it possible for them to quickly subdue most potential food sources. They will have trouble with bots, though that generally wouldn't be the first target. What it is triggered by is something akin to a shift in the sensory information, as the victim's sense of smell adjusts to the finding of this new food source. When the victim is severely tempted - such as an open wound - a series of chemicals usually found naturally in the human body trigger the changes made throughout the brain, releasing a different set of virally introduced chemicals that vary the victim's reactions to things, even using the TO's bot half against them, which can end painfully for the victim.Creation
The creation of the virus will likely be done by somebody who has something against the Autobots, but who's curiosity outweighs their blood lust, who likes to see something work out. A scientific type would be the most likely, or somebody who might be interested at all in bio-engineering something like that, or have to capabilities. A team working together might be possible, too, as long as motivation is kept in check.
What will likely have to happen here is the capture of the victim in question, infection, and subsequent release. Of course, the character and player can work out the details of this, to stay in character, and the initial idea may be changed dramatically.Cure
The cure is going to be the most complicated part. The victim will likely try to seclude themselves, or be put in 'protective confinement' of some sort, which could potentially make things more difficult for whoever is working toward a cure to the virus. Fortunately, it doesn't spread easily, as it is more of an experimental virus than anything.
However, many solutions may wind up only being temporary. Only hunting down the virus itself, which will have disguised itself in the victim's system, will make headway to a cure. As it is, the only lasting side effect is the psychological damage, social damage, and the 'calcium deposits', all which, in time, may be cured. The teeth may be filed down, but the reason for their existence takes longer to wane out than the virus itself, the brain having suffered from the introduction of new chemicals that it is forced to work out of the victim's system - something that may be addressed by the finder of the cure. As it is, there are many potential characters for the cure finding, and working in a team will be easier here - making this the least limiting area.Thanksgiving[Plot Title]Christmas[Plot Title]New Years Eve/Day[Plot Title]
