Main Account: Kratin
Other Characters: Sarge, North Dakota, Warfare, Frigid------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHO ARE YOU?
Name: Jack Brady Lynch (Agent Massachusetts)
Nicknames: Jack-of-All-Trades, Mass, The Irishman, Lucky Bastard
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Route: Hetero
Status: Rogue------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE DETAILSJack is not the most impressive of the Freelancers. He stands at 5’10 with an athletic build. Under his helmet is a slim-faced man with dark, disheveled hair, blue eyes and a light goatee. On the side of his neck is a tattoo of a shamrock, partly framed by a horseshoe with the words “Lucky Bastard” arched beneath it. His upper arm has several tally marks tattooed, representing every time he’s been lucky enough to escape death or capture. Along the inside of his forearm is a depiction of a naked woman with green ribbon flowing about her teasingly, just hiding the sensual parts and posing suggestively with a four-leaf clover on the left cheek of her face and long flowing blonde hair. This is apparently his vision of Lady Luck. His armor is a light green, standard Spartan Mark VI model.------------------------------------------------------------------------------YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH

Personality:
The first thing one will notice is his clear Irish ancestry. His accent is thick and he is obsessed with the concept of luck, mainly because he feels he has a lot of it. He is also a rather mischievous fellow and if he were short enough many would compare him to a leprechaun. Of course, he isn’t much of a drinker, so the full stereotype falls short, but it is clear why many just refer to him as “The Irishman.”
One of his most entertaining (or annoying if you’re a more serious sort) is his devilish sense of humour, making jokes on just about anything. The smirk almost never leaves his face and it is this mischievous spirit in him that often gets him into and out of trouble. He became something of a prankster among the Freelancers, which may have led to a bit of bad blood amongst more than a few. Of course he is not without his boundaries, like verbally kicking someone while they’re down, unless they deserve it.
Above all else, he is not afraid to speak his mind, even if everyone in the room hates him for it. Of course he takes it even better than he dishes out, accepting criticism with a laugh and usually, to the annoyance of the critic, not heeding it. He isn’t easily offended, and even when he is he hides it better than just about anyone behind the usual smile.
Strengths:
Perhaps his greatest strength is his uncanny ability to escape practically any situation, no matter how dire and when asked how he does it, he always credits his luck. Though not lucky enough to escape unscathed, he is still able to confound his opponents. Whether it actually is luck or perhaps a hidden ability to defy the unthinkable, it has yet to be confirmed, but until that day comes he will always say Lady Luck loves him.
Where Tex was the Queen-of-All-Trades, Jack lived up to his name and is skilled with just about anything. Though he has no real specialty, his luck landed him the position of a marksman, as he made more than a few miraculous shots. Overall though, his skills all around are quite excellent and the diversity gives him an edge on those skilled in something more specific as he can throw just about anything at them.
Weaknesses:
His recklessness, a by-product of his luck, gets him into all the trouble his luck has to get him out of. He doesn't take into account everything and seems highly dependent on his luck to get him through a situation. It’s a good thing that so far his luck has yet to run out, but those who know him are expecting someday he won’t be lucky anymore.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET
Family:
Gary Lynch – Father
Catherine Brady - Mother
Randy O’Conner – Adopted Big brother
History:
Originally born an illegitimate child in Dublin, he and his parents moved to Boston Massachusetts when he was only a year old. Still unmarried and barely making it by, Gary and Cathy worked long and hard to scrap together a meagre living. Of course the time came that their life was so impoverished, Jack was taken away from them and placed into foster care at age two. At this time he was moved from house to house and he was often bullied by other foster children he lived with. He would often retaliate with general mischief, hiding cat dung in their pillow cases, taking embarrassing photos and showcasing them to all around the school. It didn’t help his situation, but it allowed him a great deal of satisfaction and a good laugh.
It wasn’t until he met Randy, another Irish kid, that he found a kindred spirit. They became good friends and stuck together through thick and thin. When the time came that they were both moved again, they found out they’d be split up into different homes. With no plan and just their friendship spurring them on, they ran away at age ten. From then on they relied on each other to survive on the streets of Boston and they took up odd jobs, most of which were illegal. They became pickpockets and they developed the skills of free-running since they often found themselves on the run from authorities.
Tired of working on the streets, when they were both old enough, they signed up for the U.S. Army and they were both exceptional cadets, though their mischief didn’t diminish much. While they served in the military, they both showed exceptional skill, though Jack showed a particular knack for getting out of tough situations. It was for that reason he was contacted by the BWC for a position in a secret project. The fact Randy wasn’t given the same opportunity made him jealous of Jack. From that point on, a rift swiftly grew between them to the point Randy became hostile, even going as far as bullying him. That was the last straw for Jack and he took the offer just before it closed, wanting to be away from “that jackass.”
While serving in the Freelancer project, his mischief and sense of humour became a problem, but he was kept on, another thing he credits his luck for. Eventually he was given Iota and initially the pair grew to hate each other, Iota demanding order and stability and Jack telling him to shove it. Eventually though, they both learned to live with each other and even benefit from one another. Though Iota would never grow a sense of humour and Jack would never become a professional soldier, they found the partnership was perfect.
When the BWC began to breakdown, Jack was one of the first ones out, knowing full well that whatever was coming his way wasn’t good. Between the two of them, they’ve managed to make a living from mercenary work, illegal activities and through the exploitation of his armour enhancement, gambling. Iota isn’t happy with this, however. Recently, they've taken up a contract with MECH which gives the pair what they both want more than anything. Structure for Iota and a good pay grade for Massachusetts.------------------------------------------------------------------------------IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?
Extra:
AI and Armour Enhancement
Perhaps again due to his luck, Jack was given the AI Iota, the Alpha’s sense of duty and responsibility. The BWC perhaps decided on Iota in the hopes his rigid behaviour might influence or at least control the more wild Agent Masschusetts. With the AI came his armour enhancement, a probability calculator. Just when people thought Jack couldn’t be any luckier, this enhancement allowed Iota to accurately calculate how certain events would work out. It isn't perfect of course, it isn’t like peering into the future, but it betters the odds for Jack when he has a rough idea of what might happen when he does something. Of course it only calculates his nearby surroundings or large objects in the distance, making avoiding sniper fire completely luck-based.

Iota------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME
"Alright. This should be easy. Just pop in to the base and take it. Couldn't be any simpler." Jack's devilish smile split across his face. It only diminished slightly when Iota added his two bits, eliciting a disbelieving chuckle. "How is this going to be simple? There are at least twenty guards I can see, and that's not including how many could be inside. They are armed with .50 calibre munitions, grenade launchers and I believe I see a pair of snipers as well. No doubt they are also equipped with thermal vision." Jack rolled his eyes, Iota never did learn to think outside the box, never would either at this rate. "Well, I was figurin' on just strollin' up to the front gate and sayin' "Excuse me kind sir, I was lookin' to see if ye had any spare super-secret-tech-that-no-one-should-know-about? Ye wouldn't happen ta have any ye were willin' to part with?"" There was a moment of silence between them, know doubt Iota was having the AI equivalent to a brain aneurysm as he tried to figure out if Jack was serious or not. "I don't know why I bother?" Once again, Jack merely chuckled, "Ye never know Iota, they just might fall for it." He grinned as a loud, agitated groan echoed through his helmet.
