I have noticed that several people have found that they have hit a busy period recently - oftentimes an expected one, and as such, are weaning off of the computer gradually. This many people, unfortunately, must include myself. Now, I knew this year was going to be hellish since I got out of Junior year; however, going to enrollment the other day struck into me just HOW hellish it was going to be. Now, I don't intend to make this notice sound like I'm being whiny or anything; believe me, despite the scheduling problem, I'm actually quite excited. However, I do plan to explain just WHAT is going to be making my year hell.
School this year, if we canbeat the principal uptalk the principal into it, will be at two places; I will be a fully fledged student of both a high school, AND a college. I aim to take Calculus at the college AS WELL AS a science course. The science course, however, is going to be the killer, as I will have to miss two to three high school classes once a week for the lab session. However, outside of the college territory, just the general milieu of classes will bring in a hell of a lot of homework - I have some of the hardest, most dreaded classes and teachers in the high school this year to deal with.
Outside of classes, I have Cross Country, which will take until about 5:00-5:30 on NON race days - race days could take until 9:00 - and then I have band, which runs the potential of taking up many an evening. After Cross Country is over, we have a month of break before Track starts - which I fully intend to join. So far, this leaves me the weekends - which will be taken up by the overbearing load of homework that I will no doubt have, as well as the horse program that I am now a fully fledged instructor of.
Now that that's all squeezed in, what about what's left? While I would LIKE to spend it HERE, I will have to spend it dealing with colleges - researching how to get into them, what I need to do, scholarship information, where the best places for me are, if I have to compromise on details, how I'm going to earn money for it, not to mention studying to improve my ACT/SAT scores - though I'm not sure how much I'm going to be able to improve the ACT score, it's still worth trying.
With everything going on here, this year proves to be very hectic, which means my time online will be very, very limited. While I expected some of this, the full brunt of it only just hit me - I apologize for this, and will aim to be as active as possible in what time I do have. This is just a warning - and may be in effect for a long time to come.
