Name: Rafael Esquivel
Nicknames: Rafael, Raf
Age: 12. And a quarter.

Status: Bumblebee's charge, Autobot human friend, Tech Head.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE DETAILSFor his age, Raf could actually be considered quite small. He stands at 5'2", which makes him the smallest human friend that the Autobots have, but he's by no means considered the least important to them. His abilities with human tech make him an invaluable asset, especially to Ratchet when he has trouble with some of the human computers. He has wild, stuck up brown hair with brown eyes and red square glasses. He's usually seen with an orange and cream sweatshirt and loose blue jeans with white sneakers, and he's almost always carrying his laptop with him.------------------------------------------------------------------------------YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH

Personality: Raf is usually quite quiet, being the one that's often picked on during High School. But now that he's met the Autobots, as well as Jack and Miko, he's slowly coming out of his quiet shell and is starting to become more friendly around the people he meets. He manages to keep a cool head in most situations, unless he's right in the face of a Decepticon, obviously. But he'll do just about anything he can to protect his friends.
As mentioned, Raf is a serious tech whiz. He's often helping Ratchet with various glitches in the human software that the Autobots are forced to use, and has even saved the day a couple of times. He doesn't tend to brag about this skill though, half fearful that he'll get laughed at like he does at School. He also loves spending time with his Autobot guardian, Bumblebee.
Strengths: ... Tech head. I mentioned that. Raf seems to be the only human who can understand what Bumblebee is saying, so he often translates for just about everyone in the base. He's also pretty good at video games, if that counts as a strength.
Weaknesses: Being a human, he's pretty vulnerable to attack. Due to his short legs, he can't really run all that fast either, and he often finds himself getting into trouble when he's left out of things. History: As you can probably tell, Rafael has a very large family, and was the only member to be born in Jasper, Nevada. Everyone else was born in Madrid, Spain. From a very early age, Raf had difficulty being heard since everyone else was extremely loud, but often his father took him aside to have a chance to keep him company. Miguel Esquivel is the person he got his computer skills from, since Miguel works for the FBI, though this also means he can't be at home all that often.
So Raf turned to tech to keep himself occupied and out of the way of his more noisy and active siblings. Daria at least knew where he was and knew that he was out of trouble, which meant she had slightly less to worry about. Raf never really minded being alone; it left his mother with more control, since such a thing was hard to come by with eight children running around the small house they had in Jasper.
His School life was sometimes affected by this new found love of tech, though. He found himself a victim of many cases of bullying, though he never had it as harsh as some other kids, since Daria Esquivel was known for her fiery temper. The household became a little more bearable as Fernando, Cristina, Anton and Olivia eventually moved out and found their own lives away from Jasper. They would always make visits, though. But now, he gets more attention from his mother, at least.
He thought his life pretty standard, until an Autobot literally came soaring over his head and landed right in front of him. Ever since that day, he's been involved with Team Prime, being partnered with Bumblebee for his protection. He helps out where he can, but due to the fact that he spends so much time there after School, his mother has gotten suspicious, and even grounded him for it one time. Well, that and the fact that his grades dropped slightly.
Everything is pretty much normal for him right now. Although the arrival of a bunch of multi-colored armored soldiers might just change that.------------------------------------------------------------------------------IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?
