With chocolate brown deep-set eyes and a fairly square face, he looks slightly older than he is, though not by much. He is a very active child, and occasionally has trouble sitting still. He will almost always be seen wearing tennis shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt, though the t-shirt changes fairly often.
He is a small person, slender, but tall, taking after his 'mother' in that sense. He has small feet, long legs, and slender, nimble hands. Her actually appears slightly feminine in body shape, except for his face. Likes:
- Manipulating a situation, even if it does nothing in his favor
- Watching and listening. Social interaction is much more interesting when you can here the thought behind the words.
- Being on the move - be it prowling the halls or playing a game
- Other kids - they're fun to mess with.
- Being alone. things are much, much quieter that way.
Dislikes:
- Too many other people being around
- People he cannot 'follow'.
- Being caught breaking a rule of some sort
- People who think too irrationally. One thing he got from Prowl - love of logic.
- Being pestered. At all.
Personality: Bennie is an interesting child, and it can be hard to understand him at times. He seems very silent, and sure of himself, but in reality he's just trying to figure out how to make you think what he wants you to think. In fact, he often has trouble forming his own opinions because he's so busy trying to figure out yours. He wants to hear positive thoughts, and will wiggle his way into hearing them.
As it is, he has a large interest in social complexes and interactions, and interest in how to use them. He is very strongly founded in reality, firmly planting himself in the truth of the situation. He believes that, while a lie is handy, it's merely an annoyance from somebody from whom he can immediately glean the truth. As such, he also has a very strong sense of right and wrong - he usually just doesn't care.
Benedict is also a very mischievous child, getting into things that he knows he probably shouldn't, exploring objects of curiosity as thoroughly as possible, even getting into a bit of trouble from time to time, before moving onto something new.
As such, he is actually surprisingly athletic - a gymnastic athletic as opposed to a football type of athletic. He loves to run and to perform stunts, and he loves working with bikes - normal bikes, dirt bikes, motorcycles if he can get his hands on them - and doing stunts with that.
He tends to be a little bit of a sociopath at times, doing whatever he can to get what he wants, when he wants it. Fortunately, he knows when he's gone too far, and can back off if needed. He knows his limits and he'll work with them.
He's also adopted Prowl's propensity for logic. He even has something relatable to the glitch. When he is faced with high doses of illogic, he develops a big headache and a bit of a twitch, and will want very much to get out of the area.
Strengths: Ben is able to get answers quickly and easily out of most people and mechs, and his curiosity can make him a highly intelligent. His ability to read minds and think at least mostly logical levels can make him a high use in tactical situations, both emotional and statistical. Unfortunately, he usually doesn't care for this kind of activity.
Weaknesses: Ben is very, very sensitive to being messed with. He's a bit sociopathic, and when things aren't going his way, he freaks. He will do whatever he wants to get his way - or to just mess with people - and when he gets bugged about it, he freaks.------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET
Family: Prowl and Vicky - an accident by a third party
History: Benedict by himself has little history. Before he was born his "mother" had quickly learned to hate his "father" through a series of misunderstandings. However, his "mother" was later captured by MECH for experimentation, and his "father" went after her because of the security threat her "mother" posed - and because he really did want to make sure she knew that the Autobots looked out for each other.
Let it be known here that the two never had any kind of romantic interest in each other.
Prowl's attempt to rescue Vicky had initially been fairly well thought out, except for a couple of minor details - details that he normally wouldn't have overlooked. He sent the wrong bot, and he wasn't fully aware of the situation. Now, it is extremely out of character for him to over look these details, and the exact reason they were overlooked is unknown by Benedict, despite the fact that he is, indeed, a mind reader. All he knows is that Prowl wound up getting captured, too.
MECH had had a sadistic idea in their capturing, though. They did indeed mean to learn more, but inside there was a group that wanted to repeat an experiment that had been done a handful of times in the past for their own knowledge - the TO studies.
However, in the mix, they threw in DNA from both Prowl AND Vicky, creating a child thrust in between the pair, a child thrust in the middle of a hate and ignorance based relationship. Vicky would have the advantage of the first good period of time with Ben, as Prowl was having trouble processing the situation, but it would soon become a bit of a tug of war.
Benedict will never have to worry about being unwanted, though, as his "parents" fight over time with him, despite the fact that he was an unintentional child. Other than that, Ben has very little history to speak of, having barely been created at the dawn of this strange situation.------------------------------------------------------------------------------IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?
Extra: He reads minds, in case you hadn't gathered. I don't think there's much more to say.------------------------------------------------------------------------------WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT MEHe leaned nonchalantly against the wall as he watched the people around him, perfectly content for the moment as he listened to their stray thoughts, all so self-centered and trivial. If only they could understand the bigger plot. This world was not meant for a bunch of self centered peoples, but then, he himself was very self-centered.
He liked life that way. It was so easy to mess with people. Just alter a few small things and everything ticked along juuuuust fine. With a crooked grin on his face, the child stood up, walking out of the rec room, trotting at a steady pace down the hallways, listening carefully to the whispers of the thoughts around him. It was so fun, it was, but... He needed his quiet time. He tuned the voices out, leaving base and heading outside, to his secluded spot behind the building. It was so much more peaceful out here, and it was nice to move around... Yes, he hadn't seen much, but he felt like he'd seen the world, too...
