Tucker had recently left the shooting range for practice's sake, and was now outside getting some air. He was getting a little paranoid after hearing that so many Freelancers had been near the area or in the base before, and was doing himself and Grif a favor by setting up protective booby traps of all kinds in and around the base vicinity. So far the traps were fairly successful, they had caught Jack's mother once already, Cira on another day, and even one of the female Cybertronians. He had a series of wire traps set up under the sand, some against the cliff-face of the plateau most of the base was built in. The sand looked pretty undisturbed after burying them just minutes after the sand was shuffled around from the wind, so underground traps were pretty hard to notice.
A series of wire coils were set up to trip and suspend or immobilize beings and then set off an alert. Unfortunately there weren't any trees around, so instead he would either dig lots of holes or have them pulled against the wall of the plateau with a net or something. If it was inside, the traps could suspend the person from the walls - June got caught that way. Several traps outside however, were set up with deep holes - a person would step on a flimsy trap door covered in sand (some with wires that would suspend them upside down in the hole), and like a giant sink hole comprised of a bunch of loose sand, they would fall into it by their own weight only to have a net fired from the bottom of the trap door once folded down and tossed onto them.
Let's just say that Tucker had no life.
