One Plot to Rule them All (PLEASE READ!)

Okay, so, with all sorts of small plots that were vaguely sketched out earlier on the site, I, along with the occasional aid of others, have put together a SUPER DUPER MEGA PLOT LINE which may or may not be truly acceptable to the people involved. This plot stretches from current events on and will be in effect after the events of Operation Clusterfuck.

The current situation is as stands that I am aware of (correct me if I'm wrong or add to this please): Third Faction is forming up and acquiring a base of operations, Sarah has gone to Optimus in regards for rescuing Mike (who has been captured by GLaDOS). Several Freelancers have been appearing; Oregon and Windshear will have been "rescued" in Clusterfuck, and have to re-settle. Ironhide will have been captured by GLaDOS and taken to Aperture.

I know that that's not EVERYTHING, so add stuff if you want to. That's just what I remember.

THE PLOT

After Operation Clusterfuck, Ironhide will be taken to Aperture Laboratories to test both the new testing elements meant to suit Cybertronian needs and the new armor she will be designing for her own mobile bot form. Optimus, working as quickly as possible after Sarah's request, will work to put together a rescue team. While using Oregon is risky so soon after her rescue, Team C is, in his eyes, a very strong team, and he and Prowl believe that, due to the nature of the facility (through information recieved from Interceptor, North, and South), it is best to send in a primarily human squad to clean things up; however, Cybertronian assistance will be sent as well, in the form of Vicky, who had also recently had a conversation with Prowl concerning her near-prisoner-like status amongst the Autobots.

This mission will, ultimately, fail, ending in the capture of all persons involved.

During the mission clearing period, Alexis will start her work spying on MECH - just in time to fail to stop the start of the anti-Cybertronian Cosmic Rust, which will start with the Decepticons. Shockwave, having been at Aperture with GLaDOS until this point, will PROBABLY be called back to the decepticon base - with GLaDOS' finished "Cybertronian" body. At the Autobot base, the female dinobot Savage will have been completed, as well as an experimental aid to Elina's mental harm (do to the inavailability of Ratchet, Percy will be doing the preliminary work, to be checked over by Ratchet ASAP) when Percy is captured by GLaDOS and brought to the Decepticon base, under the disguised purpose of "helping find a cure", since Alexis had leaked information about a possible cure to the Autobots. Percy will be forced to give his personal stash, which, thanks to Shockwave, the Decepticons didn't even need, leaving the Autobots cure-free and, now, infected after Perceptor is released.

At this time, the third faction will seek the Autobots for an alliance in the termination of the decepticons and everything they stand for; several misconceptions about the Autobots will have to be cleared (PM Seeker for details) through thorough negotiation. Due to cosmic rust spreading, Autobot delegation to these meetings will become more and more sparse until it consists either only of humans or is forced to be via video call. In the meantime, an overworked Perceptor will be forced to start, from scratch, finding a cure for the Cosmic Rust as it rapidly sweeps through the Autobot forces. (Should note, this is the perfect opportunity for the Decepticons to attack! More stress and drama!) Due to depletion in the Autobot forces, full force rescue attempt of the small herd at Aperture will be delayed, and all subjects will be left to more thorough and strenuous testing.

Once cosmic rust is dealt with, a full force attack on Aperture will likely be called. Shockwave will likely get involved at this point (?) (Leaves opening for other decepticon interference, though interest may be low), and eventually all will be rescued.

Life returns to "normal". Alexis might return from Spy duties due to short Autobot staff somewhere in the midst of this, could POSSIBLY "Reappear" at MECH for future convenience. COULD ALSO ACT AS A DOUBLE SPY.

Thus ends current synopsis of potential plot.

I have to completely agree on what all is going on here!

I might be able to elaborate a bit more on the third faction, which... still needs a freaking name.

Oo Or, well... I'll do my best. I had this big speech and all, and.... I forgot it.

Well, during the Cosmic Rust, Chainsmoker would tell the Bots to frag off as she does not want any of her own to catch it. With their perception of the Autobots still how it is, I don't see them coming to the Bots. If anything, they'd just hope that a lot of Bots and a lot of Cons died. Chimney would know that it's too risky, and really not worth it, to risk attacking either during that time.

SO, in that time, she'd be more worried about gathering materials for their base. She plans on hiding it in an ocean less traveled with the use of ground bridges and teleporters with set spawn points. Such as their currently grounded ship. She's quite adept when it comes to the science of bridging. That was once her job, making sure targets got from point A to point B and then they could choose alternate routes C-G.

In response to Iro:

I would propose, as we have spoken about in the c-box and I reiterate here so others can see, that Ghost initiates the initial encounter with the Autobots. She is already in a thread that would, more or less, tie her to them. While it is before her affiliation with the third faction begins, it could very easily come up again unintentionally; if she is spotted by an Autobot that recognizes her, they may try to take her back, seeing as she is a Youngling who can't "take care of herself", even if she can. She is hard to capture, but she also tends to freeze up around Autobots, making this very possible, especially if she has a prolonged panic attack.

If this takes place AFTER she has already established good rapport within the third faction, and while I admit I know the characters very little I still propose this, there is a chance they might possibly want her back - if only so she can't be used against them. This would initiate initial contact. The Autobots would, of course, keep Ghost away from the Cosmic Rust as much as possible, so that's a bit less of a concern, but can be if we wish.

Contact would continue when the idea of mutual benefits is established; perhaps some accusations will fly about the Autobots that will be corrected in some form or another - perhaps I should detail out the previous ideas on that somewhere? - and then they might go into talking about mutual benefits. They obviously won't form a CLOSE alliance, but it will be something to base off of, naturally.

Is this a bit more fitting? It's all I've got at the moment, but we can come up with something else, naturally.
